Looking for a trip to the region of Borolo. Only have a few days.( although not booked was thinking May time ) Where to fly into and where’s the best place to stay. How far is the nearest town to the wine tours and best wine tours to use for a day trip.
Your question strongly suggests you have done no research at all. It is entirely unreasonable to expect a bunch of volunteers on a forum to do the basic legwork that you seem unwilling to do. There is a wealth of information online to get you started, and maybe invest in a guide book - there is a Blue Guide to PIedmont available on Amazon. Oh - and please & thank you will also probably get you a better response - you are dealing with real people, not chat GPT or Alexa who won't care about the absence of basic manners.
You can fly into Torino Caselle airport. The area is cold Langhe, beautiful hilly area, there are 11 towns allowed to produce Barolo wine, the most beautiful one is Monforte d’Alba. There are no buses to move around so you need to rent a car . You need reservations for wineries if you want to visit them.

If you plan to travel in May, there will be direct trains from Turin's airport all the way to Alba (timetables are not yet on line).
You may wish to base yourselves there, and rent a car in Alba to explore the Barolo area.
