Which of these destinations would you visit?

Hi, just reaching out to get some input from fellow travelers on which of these places are worth visiting. I already visited Calgary/Baniff in June, just got back from Amsterdam/Germany by Flixbus from Schipol last Friday and Going to Tokyo, then Kyoto by the bullet train. I want to plan my next year's destinations now so I can already pay for the tickets/hotels from my pay so I'm both emotionally and financially invested and can't use that money for other things. Thanks for any feedback you can give.

I often wonder how someone can choose to post such a question to a forum of strangers who know nothing about you, your interests, etc. My answer is for you to go where you want to go, not where I think you should go. Maybe throw a dart at a map?

To me, this is low hanging fruit. Just pick one and then the following year do the next.

You dont say anything about money, so i will assume money isnt an issue.

you may want to rethink how you want to see travel. I look at travel as WHEN i will go, not IF i will go. You are half way there, but for some reason, want a reason to go someplace from the list YOU compiled.

Im working on a short trip for 2025 and then my big trip later that year. Im not asking anyone for where to go, since the places are not a WHEN or IF, but it will be a DO in May 2025 and then Sept 2025.

You reckon Poland is going to invade Moscow? If that happens, the your decision is made, surely? If they don't take Moscow, I would head to Rio.

I wouldn't go to Iceland just fot the Blue Lagoon, Overhyped.

I wouldn't go to Moscow because I support the Ukraine in the conflict.

I would go to 50 places in Mexico before Mexico City.

I would go back to Hong Kong in a heart beat!

I found Istanbul fascinating.

I haven't been to Peru or Hong Kong but both look really interesting.

I think the time of year you would be travelling might affect you choice.

I hope when you go to Japan you do more than just take the Shinkansen from Tokyo to Kyoto (and if you want to go on the fastest train, the Nozomi, you should know that it is not covered by the Japan Rail Pass)

Japan is full of many fascinating places beyond Tokyo and Kyoto.

I agree about the Blue Lagoon. Iceland is wonderful. I've been twice but never bothered with the Blue Lagoon. Reykjavik is a fabulous capital!

The Secret Lagoon is much better than the overhyped Blue Lagoon. I love Iceland & would definitely return, beautiful country.

I just got back from Iceland and it was amazing. But I would not go with less than 4 days to a week, with 10 or more much better.

I also would not recommend this if you are on a budget as Iceland is VERY expensive.
