If you want a relaxed pace trip then having 3 day trips in a row on day 17 to 19 is not relaxed. Pick 1 or 2 of those days trips and forget the others completely. I think part of the key to a relaxed trip is recognising that you cannot see everything so do not try to see everything.

I would also post your question on the Japan forum. Your question is more about your itinerary than actual solo travel.

I agree with both. Please do cross post on the Japan forums for the cities you want to visit. Since you question really isn't specific to traveling alone, rather about seeing some of Japan.

What you describe is definitely not what I'd call a "relaxed pace" itinerary with every single day being packed with activities, transportation, on the go day after day. To me relaxed would have more downtime, and unplanned time to wander and explore.

Enjoy! Safe travels!!

It's a great time of year to travel to Japan as you will see vibrant fall colors. Make sure you are not in Arashiyama on a Japanese holiday. I made that mistake and it wasn't pleasant.

I agree that 3 day trips in a row could be tiring. It's always been the day after a long day trip that I've felt fatigued. I've never done more than that, so I can only imagine the cumulative effect of 3 on consecutive days.

I think you'll get a lot more replies on the Japan forum.

I would suggest you arrive at Narita Airport, check in and have a rest for the remaining day. And start your tour on the second day and start from Ueno Park, explore the Zoo and stroll around Ameyoko Market. And on day three Art Aquarium, Imperial Palace and strolling around the fantastic destination is a worthwhile thing to do. Day four is spent exploring Shibuya Scramble, Yoyogi Park and Tokyo tower. Day five for Odailba Park and for SL.

On day 6 reach Hiroshima, check in there and explore the beautiful area for the remaining day. Next day to explore Hiroshima Memorial Park. Next day I mean on day 8 take a train to Osaka and must visit the aquarium. On day 9, plan a trip to Katsuoji Temple, which is a wonderful place that attracts millions of visitors towards it. On day 10, plan a trip to Nara.
