Restaurant listings are all wrong in torquay devon

Question

Impossible to get in touch with teip advitor..the listings for the restaurants in torquay are all scrambled, its showing the best and worst ranking restaurants in the wrong order right the way through, so if a restaurant is say number 5 its showing way down the the list as number 45 and same for all others. Which means if a person is looking through the ranks to find a good restaurant they are looking at some of the worst..my restaurant is currently ranked at number 14 but is showing down the list/ranks at number 45.. how can this be rectified?

First ~ Like all the forums on TripAdvisor, this forum is peer-to-peer assistance.

Second - No, it's not impossible to contact TA staff. The “Top Questions” area on the right of this page provides information about contacting TA staff.

Third ~ "...number 5 is showing way down the the list as number 45..."

It sounds like you have a filter resulting in that display. Ensure that you are sorting by popularity and it will show 1 to "X" in descending order.

It is NOT impossible to contact TripAdvisor. Many of us contact them often.

You can do it as well! As an owner, you have a Management center. Everyone can use the General Support contact pathways. See the Top Questions on the right side of the page, full TripAdvisor website, for detailed information.

I had a look at Torquay restaurants, and the order looked logical, with the best at the top.

As RT suggests, look for a filter or something on your device which is changing the order, try a different browser or device.

Thank your for your reply, i have only been using the app on my phone so can not see the "top questions" area. Will go on laptop instead.

As for a filter.. my husband is also seeing restaurants in ascambled order too. 🤔

Can you please post a link to what you’re seeing? If it’s only on the TA_ cr.app then I can’t help, other than to suggest, delete it!
