Stopped here for breakfast. My friend had raisin toast, and I had Avocado and poached egg on ciabatta toast with hollandaise. The food and service was great, unfortunately the coffee needed sugar to counteract the bitterness.

Quick service. I ordered a Chicken salad which tasted great. Probably could do with more chicken. I also had their Almond and orange cake. It was nice.
Just grabbed a small coffee. $5.00. Thank you. A town the size of Romsey, that's a bit rich. Had a better coffee in Bendigo the day before and that was $3.70. So Verdue has No menu signage. I had to ask if they did take...away coffee. Two customers behind me before barista even began my order. Not friendly. You just lost a customer.More
Their coffee is the best in Romsey. I’ve ordered food there on two occasions and I actually didn’t really like it. The bruschetta was not very much like bruschetta, it was more like cherry tomatoes on toast. Some veggies in the roasted veggie salad were...undercooked. Crunchy sweet potato. It came with a cumin dressing which I didn’t really like, too overpowering.More
Best restaurant to pop up in Romsey for a long time! Always delish, menu gets an update quite frequently and there's alway something available for everyones liking. Staff are lovely, my favourite spot for Brekky, Brunch or Lunch!
Good food. Great freshly squeezed juice. Waitress clearly not familiar with menu and while I was looking an item up, she came back to take our order. Not given any time to complete my search, I asked her about a menu item. What she told...me was a tomato aioli was in fact sausage. Either way not ideal being a pregnant vegetarian. Farmers breakfast looked a bit sad with small lone tomato and minimal spinach but tasted good. Service could be improved a little, but a good find in Romsey.More
Every once and a while, you find a cafe so good that you dont want to tell everyone about it, because then everyone goes there, but you need to tell people so that it is there when you want to go back. Verdure is that...place, its use of local produce, friendly efficient staff, and some delicious food and baked on premise sweets makes this my new go to place for Brunch and Lunch. We have been twice in two weeks, both times for lunch. Firm favourites are the Avo, Chicken and Swiss Cheese toastie on Zealy Bay Sourdough. The Cherry Ripe slice is also a knockout. Coffee is great, its always a joy to find a country cafe that knows what good coffee is. Prices are a little higher than usual, but reflected in the premium food offering. Im looking forward to trying the rest of the food items on the menu, because whilst its not a huge list, what they do they do very well. I have found my new local!!More
Thank you for your kind words Wayne, we love we are your new local :)
Locally sourced produce and welcoming staff. Nice heater in the back and outdoor seating which is dog friendly. I have had a range of breakfasts and lunches here and have never been disappointed with the quality although you do pay more for it.
Hello Ruth, Thank you very much for taking the time to write a review of Verdure. We look forward to seeing you on your next visit. x The Verdure Team
Had breakfast here this morning with my husband and my Parents. Fabulous coffee and tremendous food. My Chia Bowl was amazing topped with mango puree, blueberries, kiwi fruit, strawberries and toasted coconut flakes, hubby had the Monsters breakfast and is still raving about the little...sausages. My Dad had bacon and poached eggs, all cooked perfectly and my Mum had Sashkusha which was full of flavour and colour. If you are in Romsey do not miss having breaky here. Plenty of locals called in for the Coffee's and you know that it is a great place when the Barista knows off by heart what your regular order is.More

A bit of the city in the country, a hip and modern cafe with great service. Great for meals or just a stop for coffee.
Thanks for your lovely words and we look forward to having you join us soon :)
Ordered a long macchiato and long black. Was the worst coffee both of us had ever tasted. Completely undrinkable. Very expensive, tooMore
Marion, I'm sorry our coffee was not too your liking. Given we pride ourselves on making wonderful, consistent coffee, I would like to ask if your dislike was a result of; flavour or how your coffee was constructed. I'd also like to note that $7.00...More
The egg and bacon was all right it was a bit slow but it was very busy and it was very expensive $7:50 for a egg and bacon I was abit of a joke but the egg and bacons were good
Thank for your review, yes they are tasty. I attribute the flavour to what we believe to be the best eggs in our district, so were totally happy with what our customers are consuming :) Enjoy your weekend.
Stopped here for a late breakfast. It was very busy inside but the outside area was quiet and well shaded. Staff were friendly and efficient, we were served faster than we expected in view of the numbers inside. The food was perfectly cooked and well...presented.More
The first thing i noticed was the terrible attitude of the staff, we were popping in for a quick coffee and a cake, because we were not ordering big we were looked at like scum. The wait was terrible and they were not busy and...the cake and two coffees was an absolute rip off. Poor customer service was definitely the killer thoughMore
Good Morning Penny, Can you please give me an idea of time and day you popped in to the cafe, better still would you mind phoning me direct, (03) 5429 6567. We pride ourself on having a very friendly team and while, sadly, I am...More
A quick lunch as the establishment was about to close. No worries what would you like!!! Friendly staff, so to not inconvenience them for their generosity we opted for a simple toasty each. And what a delight that was, very light but extremely tasty.
