Our restaurant lies at Lake of Thun, directly on the waters. Enjoy our typical Swiss Cuisine on our sunny terrass overviewing the eternal snow-peaked Alps. Bigger parties are welcome - we serve groups up to 100 people. Fine Cuisine and wines, friendly service and breathtaking views - that is us.

I had a light meal of salad and shaved cheese at this restaurant, and the food was good. The food was fine, but the views from the terrace (the reason I chose the spot) were truly stunning. The terrace thrusts out over the water, and one can see the huge alps in the Jungfrau area to the east. A special spot.

Close to Thun at the Thunersee is this restaurant with inside and outside tables. This time the weather was great and we had a table outside at the waterside.
You'll have a great look over the Thuner lake and a fantastic view at the Niesen, a 2362 mtr high mountain of the Bernese Alps.
On the menucard of course fish, meat and several fitness plates. Choice is good. We had a nice fitness plate. Staff is friendly.
Free parking, however not that big.
To make a reservation would be smart.
Enjoy the side seeing around Thun, a lunch here is worth it.

We came here for my Mother-in-laws birthday. We found the service to be excellent, and although one of our dishes didn't taste how we would have expected it to, the staff did their upmost to fix the situation and bought us another plate of fish.

Went there at 8.20 PM and they were closing. Did not want to serve us although sign and online info said they close at 10 PM.
On the plus side they have free parking which isn t easy to find in switzerland.

This is in a prime location. Right on Lake Thun. A canopy to keep cool out of the sun, really pretty location. The fish is amazing, extremely tasty and the service was very professional, warm and friendly. It is a little expensive, but then you are paying for all the positive points, and given the outstanding experience on everything I think the price was justified. Having lunch here really made our day on lake Thun extra special.

For over 20 years I have been visiting this restaurant on the water front of the Lake of Thun. The building can be easily missed as it resembles one of our older farm houses in this region and only a smaller sign facing the road identifies its name. Its decor seems not to have changed in the last 20 or more years....
My favorite dishes in this restaurant which seems to be a "Fish Specialty Restaurant" has been mainly meat dishes. Therefore I can not really comment on how they make their fish but I suspect that it is also just as good (or better) as they make their meat dishes.
Way back I used to order the "Rumpsteak on Herbs Butter". This is no longer available on their menu and I have now shifted over to their Chateaubriand on "Bernaise Butter". The owner and Chef of the Laendte seem to be the same for the last 20 years. They are doing a fantastic job to provide good quality food at a fair prices. For the dessert my favorite is the Coupe Denmark. I order the "small size" portion for this which at Sfr. 6.50 for the size and amount of chocolate they serve with very thin sliced apples all on natural cream, is delicious and hard to beat.

After searching High and Low (literally) for the perfect spot with the perfect view to have a lovely lunch that doesn't consist of junk food or Gluten based products after 1400hrs we stumbled upon this absolutely gorgeous little boutique style restaurant and hotel bang smack on the Lake front with an absolutely stunning view of the Alps.
Service started slow but we quickly the reason behind it (private wedding party also being catered). Service quickly improved and the Food was mouth watering with an Excellent selection (especially desserts) and reasonable prices for swiss standards😜 Ambiance was fantastic though some light swiss folklore music in the background would have enhanced the view
Only complaint was the many smokers whos smoke our little babies had to inhale throughout dinner when seated outside which is what everyone loves to do to enjoy the view.
Fantastic waitress very pleasant elderly lady.
We shall be back Thurn. Highly impressed

Nice location but could not have a lunch because of the limitation for use of a credit card, only above CHF 35,- a credit card is accepted. Besides this rule very unfriendly staff.

We've been here a couple of times and haven't been disappointed. The view is one of the best on the Thunersee and perch and rosti were delicious. The outdoor terrace is right on the water with beautiful views of the mountains. The waitress was very nice and everyone thanked us for coming to eat when we were finished eating. It's a very nice lakeside restaurant just outside of Thun.

My family ordered take out and it was very fresh and delicious. The tartar sauce was also a big hit. The view is beautiful of the Lake of Thun.
