Cosy ambience in a beautiful place - friendly, personal service (even our little dog was welcome) - very good summer food (roast beef plate with great homemaker sauce) - maximum large, delicious icecream dessert. Finally, we were kindly served a little schnapps maison.
We drove home full of cardboard and completely satisfied!

Great place to go during a walk, hike, motorbike trip or just by passing by. If you are hungry and you like cordon bleu, here you will be happy after. Very kind people running this restaurant in the thunersee, place to be if you are around.

Restaurant on the main street of Oberhofen, warm atmosphere, efficient service from the fast waitresses, excellent Wiener Schnitzel, served in a double portion with pommes frites, as well as the meat skewer with potato croquettes, we opted for a draft beer, price in the range average.

We got here during midday and there were very few people which was nice but the moment we ordered we found out that apparently the kid menu is not allowed to be ordered by people older and instead we had to get the same thing but for adults (makes no sense to me since they shouldnt force us to choose stuff we on purpose didnt choose) and then we had to wait more than 30 minutes for simple food while seeing other costumers that ordered food similar to ours get their food before us even though they ordered after us. The Staff demanded we knew the menu's without there it even being showed anywhere.
We may be no cooks but i doubt that it actually takes so long for 3 small plates.
After about 40 Minutes we got our food
Despite the long wait we must admit that it actually wasn't bad for what we ordered. We did question it a little since we had more on the plate than what was actually advertised and for a small plate including something we did NOT want the prices feel quite high.
Some of the staff keeps on giving weird looks and it definitely gives off an unpleasant atmosphere.

Terrible service. Would not recommend eating here. Waited a very long time at the entrance and no one came to seat us. Then searched for a member of staff. Once found we were seated on a dirty small table. Waited another 5 minutes on this too small and dirty table, then decided to leave.
Unfriendly service, very grim decor and terrible atmosphere we were not willing to spend anymore time in such a restaurant.
