The structure is very pleasant, furnished in line with the medieval character of the city village, and the service staff was friendly and welcoming (something not always taken for granted). The dishes, but also the "drink", were very much appreciated by everyone, in particular I would place emphasis on the tagliolini with lemon, which I personally consider truly worthy of note; however everything was very welcome, well cooked and even better presented. In summary, a positive experience in this tavern located in the center of the small village of ArquĂ  Petrarca. The only not entirely positive note was the cost, perhaps a little excessive, taking into account that no one looked at the complete menu (someone only ordered a first course, or a second course, with a starter, or dessert), and that there were two children who they consumed the classic menu based on dry pasta with final dessert, and with "house" wine, the price was 44.50 euros per person, however ArquĂ  Petrarca can only be visited once.....

Typical restaurant characterized by historical furnishings and distinctive features. Everywhere Wood, terracotta floors and exposed stone walls with coffered ceilings, in short, a mix that immediately transmits warmth and style. The welcome is excellent and immediately puts you at ease. The menu presents a good choice of wines with attention to local ones, the menu offers attractive land choices, but also some seafood delights. The service is offered flawlessly and carried out with the passion and professionalism typical of those who do their job with great passion. My opinion can only be the highest!

A pleasant environment, courteous and punctual service, a menu that is not huge but in which it is easy to find the right dish. Excellent, even for the eye, is the seafood appetizer with creamed cod, marinated anchovies, prawns and sardines in saor. The latter are very delicate, perfect! The platter of cold cuts and cheeses is plentiful (and a tasty mix). The bigoli with duck sauce are well balanced, the wild boar accompanied by polenta is tasty and well cooked. The wines, the white serprino and the red cabernet, are good to drink.

Bad service, waited an hour a platter of cold cuts with a bad quality cheese. Then, bigoli with duck that perhaps had been prepared by mixing them with cheese and pepper sauce given a very strange presence of very strong pepper. A plate of 3 small moscardini from 20 euros full of onion. Lunch to forget. Never again. When these things happen, the Owner should go out, put his face on it and at least make a discount to try to handle a bad figure that was evident even to his own waiters.

We are near Arquà for work. Attracted by the reviews we try the Osteria al Guerriero. We book, and we are told that there is room only outside but that it is very hot so that you stay in shirt sleeves. We arrive at the combined time, but the table is not available. We wait: there are 14 ° with a nice crisp breeze. The owner leaves us standing waiting next to two gentlemen who have almost finished, and who finally - after 15 min - moved to compassion give way to us. Meanwhile, other waiting patrons are encouraged by staff to sit on the windowsill on the ground floor of a building opposite. We sit without taking off our scarves and coats. From the menu of the day, thinking of speeding up, we order two first courses (gnocchi asparagus and shrimp) and a second to share, two glasses of white. They immediately bring us water and wine: in the glasses 1 cm of liquid! The correct dose per glass and menu should be 150 ml..... Finally after 40 minutes, the owner reappears with our first two, fluttering between the street and the inner room because she does not know what table they go to. We reach out a little, and eventually we have our dumplings on the table. Only dumplings mind you, because there is only one shrimp per dish. The dumplings are a bit raw, but hunger, time, cold have worked the magic and we throw everything down with water, because the wine - a sip and away - is already finished waiting. The second one all in all is a little better even if peppery. More than two hours have passed: we ask a passing waiter for the bill, who tells us that he does not deal with it. Let's try inside: we queue 10 minutes because a customer before us wants the invoice. When our turn comes, the owner tells us that the bill is only done outside the table: we go out, but our table is already taken. So let's stand outside another 15 minutes. By the way the bill is € 76..... What about... We don't know if the warriors were us, or if it will take the warrior to get us back there

We're not quite there yet on the service:. wines on the menu not available. The waiter totally disoriented. They serve us a white wine by the hot glass, after having recommended it to them; the remedy is another wine, this time cold, but you need two fingers and charge €5 per glass. The waiter mentioned above removes your plate and cutlery from the table while the other diner is still finishing his portion... The quality of the food is good but if it were a tavern like the name mentioned on the service you would ignore it: in reality, given the prices, it is meant to be a somewhat sophisticated restaurant. Then you need consistency: either lower the prices or significantly improve the service! €73 for two for two glasses of wine, two second courses and a starter divided in two are really too much.

I don't feel like giving less than enough, as the place is nice and the food was good anyway. However, there are objective data that prevent me from giving more than this. For example, 3 euros cover charge is not adequate for eating on a placemat, with a paper towel. Then I appreciate many menus with few dishes, but few dishes must be special. For example, the cold cuts on the platter and the cheeses offered were completely sufficient, but did not go any further. In an area where, moreover, there are many breeders. Same quality in terms of taste I could have gotten the same salami and cheese at the prix. Good duck bigoli, the ragĂą was good, just too dry, not dry, but it didn't create a binder with the bigolo in the slightest, I would have preferred them more blended instead of feeling like they were disconnected. Very good chocolate cake except that, from what the waiter told me, they forgot to do it so much so that I waited 25 minutes Very good wine and friendly staff. It doesn't take long and next time it will be 5 stars

The experience was perfect right from the moment of booking: friendly and kind on the phone. The restaurant is cozy with also some outdoor tables, they recommended some dishes to us and we were happy to have accepted the suggestions: don't miss the vegetarian appetizer and the bigoli with duck ragĂą. Thanks for the candle on the tiramisu for my friend's fiftieth birthday, a very welcome surprise, it's this attention that makes the difference!

This time I do a different review from the usual, schematic. Many pros of this small place at the entrance to the historic center of ArquĂ  Petrarca. Two small rooms, communicating, with a fireplace and a nice atmosphere. Content menu and courteous and helpful staff. 2 really good pumpkin, radicchio and scamorza lasagna. 1 excellent stewed wild boar with grilled polenta, tasty and with a strong taste. As well as 1 excellent cod Vicentina, always with polenta. Two against because I'm unsympathetic, says my wife. The covered at 3.00 euros that annoys me. Having asked for a glass of good red (causes wife absthemia and attachment to the license...) I was not allowed to taste it before serving. Overall a good local to recommend.

We had both lunch and dinner here. Lunch was a very casual affair, outside because the inside was full. For dinner we ate inside, when the town was quite quiet. While this is a quite casual and friendly restaurant, at dinner time it becomes less of a local gathering spot and more of a good quality, quite cosy restaurant. It is right across the street from Ser Petracco, and while less elegant, it is still very nice. Not to be missed. The kind of restaurant where when you walk by the next day, the waitstaff recognizes you and waves hello.

Characteristic restaurant in the center of ArquĂ  Petrarca. Nice and charming location, helpful and friendly staff. The portions are generous, quality food, you can find everything, from the most classic dish (bigoli with duck) to the more sophisticated one (paccheri with ArquĂ  almond sauce). Very good typical local dishes. I highly recommend taking their typical spritz with jujube broth, exceptional! Quality and price in line, it's worth stopping by if you pass by ArquĂ  Petrarca!

We stayed with friends, the place is nice, unfortunately in my opinion the first we ordered were nothing big, despite the price, for example a cheese pepper where the tagliolini sailed, I pointed it out and there they brought back to the kitchen to remove some liquid, poor result, even the bigoli nothing special and sad paccheri, you will judge by the photos. Another sore button sparkling water on tap and to recover they brought us ice. But I also want to highlight a great courtesy and professionalism from the female staff who followed us.

We booked a table for 14, we waited until 14:40 and then we were told that at 15 closed the kitchen and in the end the table had not cleared! Terrible! They could have told us right away at least we'd find another place to eat... No comment
