Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Does anything scream Melbourne more than eating dinner in a rooftop bar, which is a tram, while admiring the cityscape, with arty graffiti decor?
A great place to add to a Melbourne trip with friends- chill vibes, great burgers and chips, a fun decor and nice views.
Gluten free options were clearly marked, although they ran out of GF buns and subbed lettuce in instead (comical!). The staff seemed aware of GF and Vegan but struggled with whether there was dairy in the burgers (eg a milk batter) so if you’ve got a serious allergy you’ll need to talk to someone more experiences or call ahead.
Amazed the tater tots were GF, and the fried chicken burger too! All tasted great :)

Tasty concept with a cool venue. Staff were a bit awkward. Food came out quickly but a quite cold. Main issue was the dairy free cheese, i’ve have my share of DF cheese and most food businesses get it wrong so i’m not surprised. A good cook would know because of what its made out of, it needs direct high heat applied to it to make it the right texture and bring out the flavour properly. Its clear that management put it on the menu to give people an option but never bothered to taste it themselves to make sure the product they were serving was good. This business could have avoided my 3 star review if they told their table service staff to check back with tables during their meals. If they have enough time to stop and boogie to the music playing they have enough time to make sure customers are happy. 😂 Wouldn’t be mad to see a dairy free mac & cheese on the menu - it might actually give me a good reason to come back.

Seriously, the highlight of the trip.
The staff were super friendly, and the tram is just a really quirky way to have dinner.
We were worried about the 1 hour time limit you get to sit there, but the food comes out so quickly!
The BBQ bacon cheeseburger blew our minds and the tater tots were delicious.
The caramel espresso martini was great too.
I’m disappointed we are going home today or I would have gone again.

Not as great as expected, food was good, service was pretty crap to be honest. This place has been on my list to visit for a couple of years, left disappointed.
Tables were sticky, nobody came to take orders, guy that bought food to table was just rude.

Good casual lunch place - bit of a trek up the stairs to the train, but view is good and kids would love it. Some people might say 'grungy' and others 'dirty' but not so bad, very novel though sitting in the train. Had a very friendly waitress, service was quick and really enjoyed our cheeseburgers - however they contained a big thick slice of raw white onion, not pleasant....

Such a novel idea, and friendly staff but sadly the burgers were balticly cold.
When placing our order, I asked the staff member to ensure everything was served hot. They politely questioned the request and I mentioned I’d seen the food at next carriage table arrive, and it looked cold.
10 minutes later our food arrived. The chips were hot, the burgers…..cold. Not lukewarm. Cold. We sent them back. 5 minutes later, the second set arrived…..cold.
We spoke to the staff (who were very polite and apologetic), paid for our chips and drinks, and left.
Looking around at other tables, the situation looked universal.
Some will obviously put up with cold (not cheap) food for the novelty factor. I won’t.

Nice relaxing Sunday night burger dinner in a train on a roof in Collingwood. The burger was great (I had the BBQ Bacon). No wings alas so we were recommended to try the Mac n Cheese Tots (potato gems) - they were amazing. But not as good as the Melbourne Bitter battered potato cakes. Who knew a potato cake could taste so good?

This lunchtime, only the ground floor bar was open, so I had a burger and beer. I had wanted to sit in an old railway carriage. Burgers were premium priced, but tasty. My cheese burger had a good sized patty, with tomato lettuce, tomato sauce, and cheese. Gluten free and Vegan options were available for an extra charge.

Wasn’t sure what to expect as it was quite grungy and lots of stairs up to the train carriages, but it was great.
Phil behind the bar was in good spirits (literally) and very accomodating of drink requests and was able to have a laugh. The staff seemed really pumped and happy.
I didn’t have a burger but apparently they were great - the chips were great.
Just a cool relaxed vibe and plenty of fun
Well worth the visit

You people who said this place was good need your head read. The place is dirty, not grungy, the service was appalling and the food arrived cold. We had to send it back. I’d been looking forward to going there as I’d heard it was good. Never been so disappointed and will never go back.

We visited as a family with 3 childen aged from 6 months to 10 years in the early evening. The food was great and hot, but the customer service was outstanding. We hadn't booked early enough to get a carriage table, but one of the staff took the kids up to see them which made their evening. The only downside was that we had a table right by the door which other customers kept leaving open, but we'll 100% be making a return visit next time we are in the area.

Novel idea of train carriages on the roof but grungy and dirty. Staff stood around talking not very friendly at all. Whoever owns this business needs to talk to staff. It was as if they didn’t want to be there. Once they served the food they did not come near us again. They did not bother to ask if we wanted any more drinks or deserts. Burgers were tasty but that the Potatoe cakes were very oily. Fun Sims had more batter than meat on them. Don’t bother

Our family attended Easey's for lunch. We sat in the train carriage. It was a little rushed due to Covid booking requirements. Our family rarely agrees on food but we all loved our meals. We had the cheesburgers and also Louisiana fried chicken burger. We will be back.

Booked the train carriage with my family of 5 (3 teens) for a fun experience - did not disappoint. Burgers were great and service was exceptional. Lots of fun, especially when combined with a few drinks at Sephardi Alley across the road ;-)

A stunning, out of the ordinary restaurant. Ive never been in such an iconic restaurant. Food and drinks were amazing, my daughter had a bloody mary, which was like a meal in itself, so different, and tasty. Burgers and sides to die for, excellent
