Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

We went for dinner, but wish we would have went for lunch. We weren't greeted by either of the two females at the bar. We sat down and waited a few minutes and finally got up and went to the bar to order drinks. This...is not a very big place and it was not overly crowded. One of them finally brought menus and took our order. The fish tacos were the best i'd had all week.More

Great lambi and fries. The sauces provided are tasty too. A wonderful place to lounge and watch the sunset over Morne Rouge Bay.

Don’t skip the chance to visit this beach and try these fish tacos. It’s perfectly perched on the beach facing the sunset, the drinks are excellent and the food is so good.

A funky little beach bar, perched hillside serves great drinks and good food . . The fish tacos were exceptional and with a cold beer and refreshing swim quenched our appetite and soothe our soul

Had the fish tacos. Everything was nice service, view, food. Small place. Enjoyed what we had then went down onto the beach.

Might be the perfect beach bar. Beautiful location. Appropriately casual. Great staff. Good food. Cold beer and good cocktails. Just chilled there for hours listening to music and enjoying the view.

The vibe is really good and the staff are ok but other than the fish tacos (always amazing) and the 50/50 burger, the food we had was not that great. My chicken burger was literally the cheap reformed burgers no one buys and the fish...bites had precisely no seasoning. Charging 2ec for sauce for your wings is cheap and cynical. The rum and cokes were weak and nothing special. All in all a great spot that I have been visiting for years but after revisiting after a few years away from Grenada it felt like just another cynical tourist trap with a great view, which is a shame.More

On a recently trip to Grenada, my husband and I stayed close to this colorful little beach bar. On 2 Saturday nights, we witnessed the live music--talented singers! Excellent fish tacos, conch bites, fish sandwich & fries. We liked it so much we ate there...twice!More

Great Anse gets all the fame. But Morne Rouge beach (also called BBC) beach is worth checking out too. It's much quieter and more peaceful, but also a stunning stretch of sand. This is the spot to eat and drink at on Morne Rouge. Idyllic...location, super nice staff, and the pina colada was delicious. Food menu is limited but the tacos and fried conche (lambie) is excellent. Great spot.More

A decent bar right on the beach. A bit tight for space but it’s a good no frills down to Earth place. The staff were really friendly. We didn’t try the food but spoke to others that said the tacos were good. Did 3 nights...there but particularly enjoyed 80s/90s evening. The sunset view was stunning.More

Love this place! We were in Grenada on our boat for hurricane season and must have came here at least twice a week. Best fish tacos and rum punch on the whole island. Antonio and the crew are always smiling, play good music and provide...a fun vibe. Fabulous view too. Going to miss this place!More

Amazing fresh and quality bar food, great mocktails. We had the vegan tacos, Cajun fries (that were absolutely spiceliscious) and mango slushies. Overall great value and quality fresh food with a priceless view.

My husband and I wandered over to La Plywood today to relax with some drinks and snacks. The bartender was fabulous, she looked after us all afternoon and she made fabulous drinks. This is a low key place, nothing fancy and exactly what we wanted....The fish tacos were also outstanding.More

Had read about the bar and the beautiful beach and it did not disappoint. It’s a tiny little place so everyone ends up chatting, tourists and locals. The place has lots of character and characters! We had the fish taco as did the rest of...the bar, they listed a burger but I think that might but not too sure that exists. Everyone comes for the taco, everyone goes home happy. It’s cheap, friendly and with great beach access. Don’t miss out!More
