The atmosphere, the food and entertainment everything was a stand out here. Meals came out quick and cooked to perfection, nothing was left on our plates. They were very busy but still arranged a suitable time. Great feed at a great price. All the staff were helpful and friendly and the local club members inviting.

We wandered up the hill to the club on a Sunday night but left it a bit late and the kitchen had just closed - our fault for already being on island time. Looked like good basic food such as fish and chips. Locally brewed...beers. Friendly bar staff. Nice views from the deck. The inside has the feel of a 1960's social club but that's part of it's charm. I shouldn't think its easy to make a profit here so give it your support and enjoy the experience if you are a visitor.More

Visited twice, good meals both times. Popular with locals - a good taste of local life. A few different theme nights during the week, quiz nights, movie nights etc. Wasn't open every day when we were there. I'm sure it has longer hours during summer.

Great value yummy dinners and don't miss Monday movie nights, very relaxing and friendly, highly recommended.

Great for a nice pub type meal at a good price .just need to sign in at the bar all is welcome.good priced drinks to .a must do when on greatbarrier island also Saturday nights

Visited the Social Club with my 2 teen sons after walking the Aotea Track. Was craving fish and chips which didn't disappoint but the highlight was the band Knights of the Dub Table who rocked the place for young and old
