Our search for the perfect steak starts in the West Country. This is where our premium grade beef is reared according to rigorous animal welfare and farming practices. Our beef is sourced from our local butcher who hand cuts the beef to exacting standards. The meat is also hung on the bone for Seven days in special maturation chilling rooms before being further matured off the bone for 21 days. Hence the term 28 day aged beef. It is this together with the fact that our cattle are prominently grass fed that makes our steaks so tender and delicious. We are not just about premium steak. We also offer handmade premium Steak burgers, Ribs, Chicken as well as daily specials which include locally caught…

Just finished a brilliant meal here (Saturday 25/9). Down from Worcester and missed chance to eat here in July. The service is delivered by friendly competent young people, which started from pleasant welcome to the sad goodbye. Our steaks were well cooked my 12oz rare...bavette the best outside of France.
Great being able to have wine by 500cl carafe when just two of you.
We'll tell our friends who are staying longer to give it a try.
The chefs work behind glass panel and are interested in your reaction to what you eat too.
Miss it at your perilMore
We went to The Shed while on holiday, the other half had wanted an Indian but we couldn't get in either so popped in the Shed and luckily got a table.
What a result. The food was amazing and service spot on.
The food was...so good we had 3 courses. We never have 3 courses.
I had the duck and husband had the steak. Absolutely gorgeous.
It's such a shame they're 4 and half hours away!More
Had a meal out for 5 of us on a Wednesday evening. Restaurant busy and a lovely atmosphere. Ordered chicken burgers, beef burgers and a vegan burger. All very tasty. Couldn’t finish chips, ok portion but big chips! Staff made us requested cocktails. Very attentive...and friendly. Best place we have eaten in Seaton. Have found it difficult to find anywhere open or with a nice atmosphere and friendly staff so well done to the ShedMore
So I don’t like leaving bad reviews but I have to as the manager here is awful, as we were waiting for our food we received our drinks which were good, the people next to us complained about their steaks being over cooked. The waiter...(lovely young man) proceeded to apologise and take food back to the kitchen but was intervened by the manager asking what was wrong. For the next ten minutes he continued to argue with the customers that the steak was cooked correctly. The lady decided she couldn’t even be bothered to eat after his abhorrent manners. Anyway we received our food, chicken was lovely as was the steak. The rack of ribs though were completely dry and tough. We told the waitress who couldn’t apologise enough. She told the manager who couldn’t even be bothered to acknowledge the fact we complained. I paid the bill in full then approached the manager who asked why I hadn’t told anyone. I proceeded to tell him that we had and even saw the waitress tell him. So I asked why he never tried to rectify the problem and he said we will give you more ribs!! After we’ve paid and leaving!! I also Mentioned the couple next to us and he said customers don’t always know what they are ordering and aren’t right with their complaints. I feel sorry for the rest of the staff who were very polite. If you want to be told what good food is and not decide for yourself if it is then go here and let the manager tell you. Avoid if you know what good food is and how you like it.More
