Look no further, this is where it happens!
In a territory where the considerable offer is sometimes (often) not up to the quality and the welcome, the small channel remains and will remain the emblematic address of the entrance to Cap Ferret.
Natural oysters born and raised in the pond, a large part of which come from the mythical Banc d'Arguin, you have and will have an appointment with taste and authenticity.
With an exceptional view and setting, which is matched only by the truly exceptional welcome of the hostess, Clothilde, one of the (too) rare emeritus oyster farmers of the basin, expertly supported by her spouse Loris, and a team dedicated to the customer's pleasure (don't forget to greet the faithful sheller!!) we spend a delicious time here which by default calls for returning 3 times rather than once.
Unquestionably, this is where it happens.

Beautiful spot! The food (including shrimp/oysters) was super fresh. Nicely baked bread, including butter and mayonnaise. No further map.
At low tide the smell of the bay is clearly present.
If you want to go to the toilet, that is definitely not recommended! No towel, no soap, tap was NOT working. That's definitely not fresh.

Like every year, obligatory passage to the little channel, a scorching evening but with oysters, spiced whelks, periwinkles and great shrimp. We never tire of this extraordinary view and this peaceful atmosphere. Can not wait for next year .

Discover this cabin hidden at the end of a dead end offering a calm and idyllic setting for a seafood tasting: shrimp, oysters, whelks, periwinkle and prawns with your feet in the sand!!
Happiness in its purest form!
Proximity to the 2 young owners who welcomed us “at home” with ease.

Just a few excellent quality seafood products.
Oysters, undoubtedly the best tasted in the region during the week.
The excellent organic shrimp, prawns and espelette pepper pâté made up the dinner. Dessert is not provided for children.
The service is simple and without waiting despite the crowds.

It was superb, tasting succulent seafood, with our feet in the sand. We enjoyed an exceptional setting and a magnificent sunset over the pool, everything was perfect. The staff was very friendly, everything to have a pleasant time. A must do!!!

Excellent menu and service. Beautiful calm location in a quiet village near Claouey. . Scenic waterfront view just meters from the sea. . Easy parking on streets near by. Not to be missed and we will definitely return!

A big thank you to the entire Petit Chenal team! We had a wonderful time with my husband, the oysters are excellent as well as all their seafood. I highly recommend the prawns!
