Best value for money.

We’ve tried a few restaurants in our 7 day holiday in Lefkada to only get here the last day. The food was good, plenty and best value for money. The waiters and the owner were very friendly and professional. The owner even showed us photos of the dishes that we’ve ordered before the food arrived. We’ve also got a desert from the house for all 5 of us. I strongly recommend if you are oversaturated of fries and gyros. We’ve paid 125€ for all 5 Of us and we’ve ordered two of the most expensive dishes (the black Angus rib eye 22€ each).

Lobster or Red Snapper

2nd visit to this restaurant, and once again we expected the high standards from our last visit. Tables were available straight away, and then we ordered. That's when the fun started. The waiter took our order for Mussels to share, and Lobster. He kept coming with dishes for other couples and eventually brought our starter, and when we had finished took it away. He said to keep the table free as the main event was coming. So we ordered Lobster, and at 90 euros a pop this is not cheap. The waiter was very exited as he put our Lobster on the table and the look on our faces would have been priceless. We looked at him, then back at our meal, then him again. What had appeared on our plate was my worst nightmare. RED SNAPPER.... My other half was speechless, and i was gobsmacked. The waiter was adamant we had ordered this, and although he did volunteer to take it away and get a Lobster cooked, we didn't want to wait another 45 minutes, so we tucked into the Snapper. It was delicious and very tasty. They offered us a free dessert as recompense but that was it. It is a lovely restaurant and the food is delicious, but we had a comedy of errors which we did laugh about later on.. I would recommend but if you ask for Lobster... Beware the Snapper..

Very good Restaurant

We arrived at Nikiana port late evening The restaurant has a lovely view at the port while the waiters were friendly and helpful. We ordered two appetizers and two main dishes. All of them were very tasty and we totally recommend this restaurant.

Below Average Restaurant - Not Value for money

If it was presented as a tavern, I would rate it with probably 3-4 stars; but since it is presented as a gourmet restaurant, I am generous giving the 2 stars.. Pros: Location and a few members of the team Cons: Food is average, Service is below average (Mains arrived literally 4 minutes after the starters, and the waiter asked if we had finished our starters??!!! then he just left the mains on the table.. And that's just one of the issues we experienced). Value for Money: You spend twice the amount you would pay for a much tastier meal in a fish tavern Last but not least, the biggest cons were the lady host because of her unwelcoming attitude and the gentleman who was taking some orders and chatting with the tables fishing reviews...

Highly overpriced!

This restaurant was highly overpriced! A greek salad for 11€, I could have just taken my car and drive 5 minutes to get the same exact salad for just half the price. There was one fresh fish to chose from which was 1 kg and 60€, I vould have again taken my car and go to the other restaurant and have 5-7 fresh fish to chose from, and also for cheaper. I guess the atmosphere was quite pleasing, but still that does bot change the fact that this restaurant is made purely for tourists. I would definerly not recommend this restaurant for anyone who wants to eat fish in greece.

Nice dinner

Good food, local food made slightly different. We visited them with small children and they were eate pasta with shrimps, and it was perfect. Also other food was perfectly prepared and also nice decorated. So I would recommended this restaurant to everyone.

One of the best restaurants in town

Dinning at this restaurant was one of the most pleasant experiences from my entire trip. The quality of the food had me amazed and the stuff was very polite as well as helpful with the advice they gave me about the places I should visit as well. Great menu with original Greek dishes at reasonable prices and at a beautiful location. I’d say it’s a must visit without consideration.

High quality, but very stingy portions!

We ordered sword fish filet, but thought it would be accompanied by something else too. Unfortunatelly it was very plain, just some boiled vegetables on the side and two ...dots of sauce. The quality of the fish was good, but for the price one pays we believe that the portions should be bigger. We also think it is unecessary to ask the customers at least ...10 times if they were ''pleased''!

The food is excellent. Quality materials cooked perfectly and plated artistically. The service is quick and friendly, while abiding to all the covid rules. Reasonable prices that match the restaurant's quality. One must try the mushroom risotto...

The food is good, high prices, small portions. I do not recommend because products were included in my payment note that I did not order and did not reach our table. The bread is also included in the payment, 2 euros per person, although I did not ask for it nor did I consume it.

Don’t go if you are alone

I came to the restaurant alone, sit next to the water on a table for 4, waiters became worried about it and asked me to change a place to sit on a smaller table and show me the place where were no tables at all, it was empty space. I asked if I can stay at this table, they told me no, as I’m alone and this is the only big table next to the water. I’m really sad that this restaurant cares only about how much money their customers will bring.

During our stay this year we visited the Porto Nikiana Restaurant several times and each time the food and service were exceptional! The chef really knows his way around cooking delicious food. Also we highly recommend the house wine from the local lefkas earth winery. We will definitely come again next season!

!NO TATIKI! 1.50 € the portion of bread per person and when I asked for them only for two, he didn't really like them, asking us if we want bread several times. Very high prices compared to the amount of food they put on your plate and quality.The orange juice that costs 4 € is just the core with a few drops of juice and a lot of water and ice. Food is spread on the plate. Exaggerate with oil.

Great restaurant at the port of Nikiana

Based on the TA reviews we decided to give this restaurant a visit and we were not disappointed. The waiter who greeted us was very friendly and really helpful. The food is different to a traditional Greek restaurant but really tasty. 4 of us shared 2x grilled Seabream and my daughter had the kids linguine. We also had the Greek salad which was fantastic, really different to what we expected. Great service, it was the most expensive restaurant we visited on our holiday but because it was so good we had plenty of food and drinks and probably pushed the bill up! We definitely would recommend. Great atmosphere!

Where does the 5 stars rating come from? 🤔

Planned a dinner here because of TA superb rating. There were quite mixed feelings though… Service staff were really nice, no issues here, however it couldn’t compensate for the the food - it was really average, tasteless, blunt. Fish, puree, risotto, meat - all dissapointing unfortunatelly. Didn’t definitely feel as 5* food. In total overpriced for the quality of food you get. Would not come back again.
