We went to Pukeko Junction Cafe because we had heard it had a new owner who had an establish reputation for quality food and service in Christchurch. Sadly, this turned out to be a less than ideal experience. Initially, we ordered some cabinet food and...More

My vehicle nows to pull off here whenever I pass. The cabinet is always a riot of colour and flavours. This time the salmon flan was looking perfect and I thoroughly enjoyed it. My partner had the bacon & egg pie. I love the fireplace,...More

A little disappointed after reading the reviews. Came with a small group for lunch. Egg and bacon pie was very dry. Coffee was good. Staff pleasant. Orders came in random order. Okay but not fantastic.

I had been coming here for years but after moving away I had not visited lately. After awful food elsewhere we knew that stopping here would not dissapoint. I had the lamb shank pie which was amazing and the coffee is always great also.

Last Wednesday, we had lunch and I ordered a salad to take with us, as we often have in the past. The written description of the salad was familiar (brown rice, greens etc) so when we opened it later for our evening meal, I was...More

Thank you for your feed back in trip advisor. We will have to work harder. Restaurant costs and wages and services required to run a restaurant sustainably must be far cheaper in Culverden.
