Came for a late lunch and we are really glad we did. Great services and really fantastic food. Very accommodating for a vegan diet too, no problems to make sure I had something yum to eat. Food was presented beautifully. Highly recommended and we will...be going back when we are in the area.More

Excellent spot to take a break from driving or to meet a friend for coffee. Plenty of space to find an area to chat and enjoy great coffee plus enjoy a tasty morsel. Relaxing and enjoyable with friendly helpful staff.

Dropped in for a late lunch. My husband chose the Veggie burger and I had a salad and some chips. Very happy with the presentation and delicious taste of our meals. Superb, friendly service from our waitress Emma. Will definitely come again.

We had lunch for my sister in law here. Apart from terrible service, the menu was very limited. My mushy soup was magnificent albeit it an hour late. Had to eat my brother in laws chips as some food came from time to time.More

I am so sorry you did not enjoy your visit but glad your soup was MAGNIFICENT! I cannot understand how you waited an hour (late?) for your soup as we time every meal to take no longer than 20 minutes. Meals always arrive at the...More

Lovely shop and cafe. No equivalent of Cracker Barrel. No grandma should miss the chance to stop here for that thing you didn’t know you needed til you saw it. Lol. Staff are very nice and helpful. I had a lovely cup of green tea...with honey.More

Possibly the best breakfast I have had in 10 years living in NZ. Great service, immaculate toilets, stunning food and super friendly staff, linked to a shop that has gifts for every occasion and every taste. Thanks for a great experience.

The food was tasty and well presented, and the coffee was great; the atmosphere was friendly, although the young service person appeared as though she would rather be elsewhere. It was a cool wet day and sadly the heat pump was out of action, so...we had to leave our coats on.......not that comfortable, but the meal was worth it. It's a great place to hunt around for a quirky gift.More

We chose this cafe for our morning coffee on visit to Cust. The cafe has great character outside and inside and it is like stepping into another world, especially with an adjacent emporium within the same building. Being a somewhat bleak, cold weekday morning it...was fairly quiet. Unfortunately the staff at the counter were also a little “cold”. No friendly welcome not could not get a smile. Ordered our coffees and chose a savoury muffin to accompany them. Things did improve with good efficient service. The coffees were hot as ordered and well made and we enjoyed the scone. The table was later cleared by friendly staff when we had finished and we felt welcome to stay and relax. Happy to return.More

Hi, thank you for your feedback, so sorry you had a "cold" reception. So pleased things improved for you, I will have a chat with the staff as this is not good enough. Kind regards, Annette.
