Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Extremely inexperienced staff, but the quality of food is nice. Would have been great if it was also open in the evening.
No kids' menu.

Our first day at Il Borro we enjoyed a light lunch of salads and rose wine al fresco overlooking the infinity pool and medieval village. Service was excellent and the salads were crisp and fresh. There was something special about enjoying Il Borro wines while enjoying the view and the balmy weather. We returned for another lunch and it was equally good.
If you are looking for a heavier lunch the resort's other restaurant may be a good choice. For us this was perfect. We never once felt rushed. Each of Il Borro's restaurants is a bit different -- this would be the lightest and most casual of the three. If you're enjoying an afternoon by the pool this restaurant is just steps away and in a nice shaded area.

We ate lunch when we stayed at il borro. We had a salad. each which were very well prepared and presented and a nice craft beer and glass of red. Lovely dessert and great service in a very cool setting.

We had the pleasure off meeting the friendly and attentive young man Fabrizio who was minding the Vincafe on the day we stopped by.
We were guests at the Il Borro resort and on our way to explore the large estate that afternoon. As we were the only couple there at the time, he had time for a friendly chat.
With a quick phone call to a local restaurant he secured a dinner reservation for us. We could not understand exactly what he was saying on the phone, but he took time to explain that we wanted a simple authentic Italian meal " just like Nonna would make" :)
It would have been nice to sit down with a glass off wine, but we still had the complimentary bottle waiting for us in our room.... Maybe next time...
So, once again, our belated thanks to Fabrizio, for taking extra care in making our stay enjoyable.

Ridiculously expensive. Two coca colas for 20 euros. And then you'd think we'd pay for the view, well, we wouldn't. Views suck. Don't sit here a bruscetta 17 euros.
