In this local place where people are waiting in line after ordening for pizza's you can sitdown and if you are lucky, the daugther of the owner will come and you can order the things you want.
A local place, but every one knows: the best pizza's you can get.
Thin, fresh filled and well baked.
For us the only place to go. And that is not for one year, but for several years we visit this town.

We recently stayed at the Villa Cassia Di Baccano and were at first worried if there would be any restaurants we could visit in the local area. However, after strolling around San Giustino Valdarno we found Pizzeria Cantuccio. Very much a 'locals' restaurant we really enjoyed our two visits here. The menu (English ones available) was vast and the pizzas delicious. The price was also a delight (max. €7 for a pizza and only €6 a litre for their surprisingly good house wine!).
We really enjoyed the place and would definitely recommend it for an authentic Italian pizzeria experience.

Il Cantuccio is a local pizza place, with a wood fired oven, huge variety and very good prices. Pizzas are available in normal - middle - giant (really gigante!). Very thin crust pizza. Don't forget to ask for 'olio picante' to add a special spicy taste to your pizza.

We eat for dinner 3 family’s and they had no idea on service .
Our food come out in different stages people eating entree when others eating mains .
Pizza was terrible must say walking in looked great but disappointed poor ingredients simply shocking .
Pasta was ok at best .
Waiter took our order at the start of the night and never returned again.
Waitress tried hard to assist but seemed to be running the whole show and couldn’t keep up .
Our experience was bad and after 2 1/2 in the restaurant we couldn’t wait to leave .
Surely better restaurants in the area and we unfortunately picked the worse , what made it more disappointing was it was our last evening in Tuscany & left us with a terrible ending to a beautiful part of Italy.

We were staying at Villa La Grotta for a week and knew through our previous research that local restaurants were limited. We were however delighted to find this gem and ate here 4 out of our 7 night stay.
Whilst the service was efficient as opposed to welcoming (to be fair this did improve the more times we visited!), the quality of the food was excellent. The pizzas were generous in size, with thin bases and ample toppings, each bill was a delight to receive as it was so reasonable.
Whilst the decor is more canteen style as opposed to fine dining, this was not an issue.
If you want good food and generous portions at a good price, then this pizza restaurant is worth a visit.
