Welcome to Elevation Cafe, Restaurant & Bar located in the heart of Motueka. We serve beer battered fresh fish & chips, juicy steaks grilled to perfection, fresh salads, calamari, pizza and mouth-watering burgers. We have all your classic Kiwi favourites covered. We decided to visit for brunch taking an elderly friend with us We booked ahead The food was delicious and the lively staff made it even more special. Our friend ordered fluffy French toast. Well she was in for a surprise as the plate was piled high. The lady that made it saw the astonishment on our friends face and came over and offered her a separate plate to place some of her meal on so she wasn’t so overwhelmed I had the waffles and we also had the big breakfast The food was all delicious and hot The tea and coffee was also hot The girls on the counter were friendly and helpful a credit to the business

Pizza Perfect

Because I have eaten pizza here before you knew their good rep for turning out nice pizzas. Today was blown away.. Ordered a gluten free base (nicely crunchy) with veges and salmon...it came out looking and tasting a million dollars, pesto and baby tomatoes with pieces of mushroom & chunks of wild salmon. Awesome. Available lunch & dinner. Delicious 😋

We choose this as it was said to be dog friendly. YES. we were given our own bowl of water and iif we had said the yummy sausage roll was for our dog it would have been served cold, or warm in her own bowl, Super dog friendly. Oh I we liked it too! The toasted sandwiches were huge and lovely and the coffees some of the best we have tasted for a while. Thanks

For almost $25 for a underbuttered over toasted breakfast muffin and cold spinach we will not return anytime soon. Way overpriced, way under seasoned, and unfortunately not worth my time. Not to mention added extras $5 for one extra tomato or one mushroom -insane . Waffles-almost raw and mushy, with maybe a quarter of banana, kids were disappointed. Why would I take my kids for an early lovely breakfast to a place with older gentleman drinking at the bar. Nope. On the plus side the staff are lovely.

37 Minute wait for a coffee

Ordered a coffee and the girl who's clothing was basically sprayed on, advised me the wait would be "10 - 15 mins". While this seemed like a long time to wait, I accepted, as I had 40 minutes spare. After 37 minutes just as I was getting up to leave to go to my appointment, she arrives with the coffee. I complained about the lengthy wait to which she offered to make me another coffee in a take-away cup. "No, I don't have another 37 minutes to wait for it"! I replied. My advice: Rather than wearing clothing that shows every anatomical detail of your body to customers, focus on fast, efficient customer service.

Hi, In this day and age any wait is to long ,I get that> The person making the coffee has 6yrs experience making coffee and providing great service. I have been advised by the co owner all customers were advised of a 30 min wait on food and coffee. Just happens sometimes when large groups or a mass of people come in at once. It is our policy to advise of wait times as accurately as possible to avoid any disappointment. The issue regarding clothing I believe she was wearing the legging things that are very common with young people today. Again we are sorry for the wait it. cheers Andy

Fabulous, friendly & fast service. Their menu caters for all tastes and very reasonably priced. I ordered their chicken toasted sandwich stuffed with so much goodness-bread is die for (chicken, cheese, avocado Amin’s other tasty goodness) some chips & sauce all for $12.50!!! Perfect breakfast place. Since we were staying in a lousy hotel that didn't offer breakfast, and given the standard, we wouldn't have wanted to eat anything from there. So we chose breakfast at this place. Absolutely perfect, large selection, friendly staff, clean and tidy

We held an event this month and were blown away with how amazing this cafe was. Communication and set up for the event was so easy and made us feel at ease that everything was under control. The day of the event was outstanding. The good was amazing and the staff are great. The venue, staff, food and service was exceptional. I cannot recommend this establishment more. Great morning tea

Looking for somewhere to have morning tea in Motueka we wandered up and down the main street and felt that Elevation Cafe looked promising. It proved to be a good choice with helpful staff and excellent tea and food. We highly reccommend the citrus tart. The cafe is quite open with some outdoor seating.

Too Busy to keep up

Very busy during the holiday period. We managed to secure a table in the corner but after sitting for quite some time, and our order being forgotten we left rather disappointed. The food was mediocre, cold and unappetizing. We did get offered a drink on the house for the mix up with meals.

Family meal - Motueka

Friendly service and great live music when we dined. Steak cooked beautifully and good kids meal options and all food eaten!! Dessert was the delicious maple and walnut cheesecake, but my steak wins prize of the night. Delicious!!

This cafe has a lovely relaxed vibe and good hot drinks! Staff are lovely, friendly and chatty and my mother and I were super comfortable hanging out here together. Easy access with parking down the back off the main street. Our hot chips bowl was good value for money and really tasty too. Thanks for the lovely hospitality.

Bad morning

Breakfast finally arrived cold. And we then had to go ask for knives forks. Then coffee arrived. Beans burnt. Woukdnt recommend at all. Disorganized and covert compliance was not good and we sat with other peoples dirty dishes the whole time

We had lunch here driving through Motueka. If you can, go for a table outside. The inside is tired and stuffy and in urgent need of a refresh. Food was reasonable and they serve all the usual cafe fare. I was put off though by one of the people behind the counter wearing a top that looked like it might be covered in animal hair. Hopefully that was one-off.

Excellent breakfast,I had a big breakfast with extra sausages and my wife had avocado smash with poached egg and bacon .We both had good cafe lattes.Food servings were generous .Pleasant atmosphere.An enjoyable experience .Would return.
