We ate here a number of times during our stay at the Sinalei Reef Resort.
Breakfasts included a fresh fruit plate, as well as typical continental breakfast and your choice from a menu, which included normal breakfast fare (omelettes, eggs Benedict, bacon, sausages, etc), as...well as a daily special (which often featured a Samoan dish of some kind).
Dinner-time meals were a fantastic experience. Hotel staff regularly play island music and on occasion staff some out and perform short Samoan dances. The restaurant staff were fantastic! They were very personable and would often come up and introduce themselves and start up conversation. They were always smiling and very personable!
We had some of our best meals during our visit to Samoa, here at Laumoso'oi. One night we enjoyed a colorful, fresh, delicious lobster wanton with papaya/avocado salsa. The braised lamb shank and risotto was absolutely massive and perfectly cooked! The tempura nori tuna with fresh vegetables was light, but oh so tasty!
On another night, we enjoyed the seafood chowder (but don't think traditional, thick, heavy chowder), and tasty wanton prawns with a papaya salsa. For a main, I enjoyed the scrumptious sweet & sour fish with rice! Filling, and so tasty!
