I wasn’t going to review restaurants this trip but this meal was exceptional. My wife and I shared a beef carpaccio, cinghiale alla maremmana (wild boar with black olives in tomato sause), Gnudi (il ripieno dei tortelli) ricotta e spinaci (the filling of tortelli ricotta...and spinach) and for desert le mousses che serviamo al caramello (a lovely creme desert with a caramel sauce). A traditional restaurant and a very affordable meal. I‘ll probably come back.More

We were served by our charming hostess the most delicious "Carpaccio di petto d'oca con grana e rucola e spicchio di limone", a mouthful but gosh what a dish. The Gnudi ricotta e spinaci was also to write home about. We tried to go back...there on our way back home, but sadly wouldn't manage. But we will certainly come back here when we are in the neighborhood.More

Went for dinner after seeing good review from TripAdvisor By far, this is the most disappointing place we dine in. Only good thing is we manage to get a table even w/o reservations but wished we havent even come. The steak is nothing special &...its expensive. Except for the bruschetta & cheese platter, the main course are just crap! Crossing my fingers hope dessert will be good. Their chocolate cake, is not fresh at all. I could knock the cake w/o even destroying it. God knows how long its sitting in the fridge Not recommended at all. At ur risk. My dinner might not be the same as any other dinnerMore

I chose Trattoria da Paolino after reading all of the rave reviews on TripAdvisor and finding out they accommodate vegan guests - they did not disappoint! The ristorante is small and quaint, so I would certainly recommend making a reservation beforehand. I am a vegan.../ eat a plant-based diet, which is not always easy. Although they don’t have a wide selection for vegans, they were willing to make some substitutions based on what I wanted. Sadly, a good portion of their pastas contain egg (which is disappointing) so I was limited to the one pasta they make in house and eliminated the pancetta. They had no vegan options for dessert, and the typical side dishes you would expect in Italy for Vegans - roasted potatoes, beans, salad or fresh/grilled vegetables. They delivered bread to the table, but it tasted stale and dry. We also had a fresh tomato bruschetta, fagioli, wine, grappa and espresso. The service was incredible - one of the women spoke English and assisted with our menu choices. The other was extremely attentive. Our plates were cleared immediately, and drinks delivered promptly. The staff were friendly and spoke with us for a time before we left. I believe we ended up paying €56 total for 2 people to have an appetizer, pasta dish, side dish, bottle of wine, water, shot of grappa and espresso - which is on par for a tourist region. Thank you for a lovely evening!More

We were lucky enough to be taken for lunch by our Italian friends. They live a 2 hr drive away and it is most certainly worth the journey. The food is fresh and cooked to order and please do not look for a photographs of...the dishes available on the menu. Very good value in a traditional Italian restaurant. If there are any dietary requirements, just ask and I am sure they will accommodate them if possibleMore

Lovely little restaurant . Food was fantastic and owners were very nice and personable. Reservations are suggested but we were seated without one. It is small and a little tight but not uncomfortable. Highly recommend

I loved every single dish. They have fresh ingredients mixed with great homemade tradition. They have the best crostini I’ve ever eat in Tuscany and a unforgettable ravioli with truffle!

The food was absolutely incredible, especially the Gnudi and the deserts!!! The owner was very kind and gracious, and even told us the town in which we could find their amazing dessert wine! Easily accessible from all of southern Tuscany, and a great stop on...the way to the Cascate di Mulino or the Terme Saturnia.More

A wonderful find! Excellent service. This was our first dinner in Manciano and I suspect we will find a night to return before we leave.
