Tea for one

This place is excellent and the owner really friendly. Great cheese scones, toasted sandwiches and superb coffee. The building is very quirky and some interesting displays too. Highly recommended.

Excellent food and service!

We came here not expecting much and was very pleasantly surprised! Beautiful hot chocolates, coffees, cheese scones and cheese rolls. Service was top notch!! We’ll be back...

Best poached eggs

Fabulous is the only way to describe the poached eggs we had at this place. The devour was interesting the staff friendly and the meal overall terrific for my wife mother in law and me. Right across the road from the ferry to Stewart Island...it is a must go place for breakfast lunch or a snackMore

Pleasantly surprised

We stopped here for lunch on our return from Stewart Island and were pleasantly surprised by the fabulous food in what looked like a pretty average establishment. The service was fabulous and when the food came, our daughter had pancakes which she said were the...'best ever' and our meals were lovely too. No hesitation in recommending this cafe for a breakfast or lunch.More
