Super nice Bagels and fresh Smoothies

Was our first Visit in this tiny new Caffee, and it won't be our last for sure. Beautiful location very near to the Beach in a Calm Side-Road. Service was very friendly, and the Menu has a vide Variety of fresh Snacks. We chose three different Bagels and a Salad, and were very suprised of the great Food we got for a little Money. Absolutly Great Place for some food and a Drink.

We found this cafe by chance on a walk in Valle Gran Rey and what a find. The owner and host was so welcoming and the food was so fresh and impeccably presented. Breakfast offerings were very varied and we would definitely recommend the smoothies and iced coffees.

The best food in Gomera with individual nice service. A small owner driven restaurant that we visited frequently for breakfast or dinner. Really friendly people work here and from all locations we have tried, it is the best restaurant on the island. We love here - our kids enjoyed the burgers and juices - and I had the best vegan food - which the chef prepared extra gluten free! The chef cooks with love and also sustainable.. If you are here and like good food you must try this restaurant.

First full day at La Gomera

It was our first full day on La Gomera. We were looking for a place for lunch and found OSO Cafe VGR on the top list here on trip advisor. The food and juices were all freshly made and absolutely delicious. The staff were extremly friendly and welcoming. We would certainly be recommending this place to future visitors.

I am a former customer and for me when I go to Valle Gran Rey it is a must see. Well located, good service and extraordinary breakfasts. Lately they also have food service which from what I read in the menu seemed quite suggestive. In my case, whenever I am there I attend the breakfast service, specifically the premium one, it costs about 28 euros for 2 people, it includes fresh orange juice, coffee with milk and a long list of products, some of which are made in-house such as pastries, jams, yogurt with fruits, etc. I document it with a photo that explains it. Both Hajo and Gaby, the owners, strive at all times to adequately serve their clientele and make them feel comfortable. Go without thinking, a must-visit point for breakfast in Valle Gran Rey.

We waited over 1.5 hours for 2 burgers with fries and 1 salad... that's not normal even for La Gomera... we asked politely why it took so long and we were told very kindly but also very precisely that the salad is freshly cut and everything is made fresh straight away... I mean, you expect that anyway, but it just took too long - stupid just because of the children... and it's not really cheap either... just honest information for you without being a grumpy person here...

Always in a line of kindness and good product. Must see in Valle Gran Rey, for breakfast or brunch. Own products with excellent taste, friendly employees with smile on their lips at all times. The best place to start your day with. Tasty fresh meals prepared with attention to details, wonderful natural juices and a staff who makes you feel always welcome. To the guy who arrived on Sunday while they were closing and left bad opinion- how shameless you are, they served you and your kids in a professional way as usually they do each day, I witnessed that kindness. We used service of Oso Cafe for couple of days in different times during our stay in Valle Gran Rey- cannot ask for more attention and care from staff. We hope to be back very soon. Superb!

I ate here twice during my vacation and really enjoyed the very fresh, lovingly prepared, beautifully presented breakfasts on both occasions. Very transparent about how and where the food comes from and I think the prices are fair for both sides. Plus the staff and the manager. I'd be happy to go back and highly recommend it. I didn't order it for myself, but I can only recommend everyone to try this shared breakfast for two! But please come very, very hungry!

Wow! Really good food with lots of fresh ingredients, excellent value for money. The Vegan burgers were extremely tasty and came with ample portions of home made potato crisps or a fantastic salad. Not a huge number of vegam options but plently for the veggie/pesci like me. Super friendly service. Puts a lot of other local places to shame.

Side street café with huge portions and very relaxed staff from their German homeland... "Hierbas? Túnel? That was the name of a bar on the Reeperbahn... We only have Jägermeister, which is also what people drink on La Gomera these days". The Bären-Café is ideal for those who are really hungry and for the neighboring apartment residents of the "Jardín del Conde" and "Baja del Secreto" hotels. I ate excellent goat stew with potatoes and the giant burger made from 100% Canarian beef with salad. The wait is absolutely worth it! I would have loved to have a leisurely breakfast with you, but opening times from 9:00 a.m. clashed with my pickup at 9:30 a.m. for a hike... We'll see you another year, guys!

Superfriendly staff and high quality ingredients from the Islas Canarias. They prepare everything homemade (French fries chips, barbecue salsa, whipped cream, cakes, and so on). The restaurant is an insider tip. My favorite is the salmon sandwich or salmon bagel. Fresher ingredients and proper toppings. The food and ingredients are of the highest quality and extremely fresh.
