The menu is packed with typical Gomero dishes and mixes with Asian cuisine. The 4 we ordered were exquisite: the avocado timbale, the diced chicken, the watercress cream and the grilled stoker. With an impressive quality-price ratio. Along with drinks, 48 euros, without dessert, of course. But the best of all is the treatment received from Gustavo. He advised us perfectly and we felt at home.

The Hotel rooms in Los Telares are great, spacious and with a traditional canary island style. The ladies taking care of the place and clean the room are professionals, and the iron sheet on the bed are soft, clean and everything en environmentally friendly. The restaurant, Los Telares connected to the hotel provide traditional food and new stylist Japanese- Gomera dishes. The place is clean and tidy, the stuffs are very friendly and professional. If you are looking for a place to recharge, work remotely (perfect wifi) and feel welcome even if you are alone, here is the perfect place!!

We traveled around the Canary Islands with my dad for a few weeks and in the end of our trip we found this amazing place in the middle of small village Hermingua. The food was extraordinary, fresh and very well thought through. The atmosphere with Bosa Nova music very welcoming and cozy. But the biggest unforgettable part was our waitress Karime which made our stay truly unforgettable. Her smile, positivity and advices very helpful and we’ve came back the next day twice just to see her and have a chance to taste some more. This place is “must see” when in La Gomera.

We had high expectations of this restaurant having read the reviews but were disappointed that many of the dishes had been adapted to an international clientel. Chips were served with many of the dishes and there was even burger and chips. My husband's banana flower curry was very bland and there was very little evidence of banana flower in it. Obviously that is just based on our expectations. The service was good, the restaurant was welcoming and it was well managed.

Dear customer, Thank you very much for commenting on our restaurant. We are totally surprised by your response, our restaurant has never sold itself as a typical Canarian restaurant. We are completely proud and satisfied to say, that our restaurant is a rich and balanced mix of Canarian Cuisine, International Cuisine, and Kilometre Zero ingredients. We have dishes from the Canary Islands, Indonesia, Japan, Cambodia.... Our fusion of international and local cuisine and the first quality ingredients that the Canary Islands offer us, is a source of pride and our main difference with other restaurants on the island. This is what our customers appreciate. Regarding the curry flower, 70% of the dish is the Banana Flower, which is black in colour. We add pieces of banana so that people can identify where it comes from, but the main ingredient is the banana flower. We regret that you may have had different expectations from the reality, as we have never sold ourselves as a traditional cuisine. We recommend that next time you come without expectations, just to enjoy and taste our rich and varied menu. You are welcome to come back whenever you like and let yourself be carried away by the recommendations of our waiters. Best regards from the Los Telares team!

Sorry but it was the worst meal I had in the canary islands. Hard to screw up pork and fries but they did. Served cold, pork so hard couldn't chew it. I just paid and left. A lot of better choices in town.

The food relatively good. As for Desserts: we tried the carrot cake, it was sour and the gofio mouse left a lot to be desired. Now regarding the service: a skinny boy with an Argentinian accent with glasses, whose name we didn't even know, served us. Despotic and too inattentive, he ignored us several times and the restaurant was not full, also when I saw the bill I asked about the charge for 2 services. And he dismissively tells me that he is a fork, the tablecloths and of course his *service*. Which has been the WORST of my entire life, without exaggeration. I told him that the charging of forks or "service" according to the OCU is illegal, to which he very arrogantly told me no, and continued debating. The point is not to pay for the service, because he always left a 20% tip in any restaurant when the service is good or excellent. I was left with a disappointment since I came to visit La Gomera and based on the feedback from the rest we decided to end our walk here. I hope future consumers take it into account.

I ve been lucky they reopened the restaurant the day after I am arrived in Hermigua. The ambiance was very chill, relax and the vibz around with mountains, all this green and Los Roques 🥰 I ate twice there. Lunch and diner. Food was delicious, generous, good presentation and it served in lovely plates. And All the staff is great! Los Telares : you can eat and sleep very well for decent price 👍 Thanks you so much again. PS: I also had a crazy delicious carrot cake but was out of battery at this moment. This carrot cake is complitely different of wht you know about carrot cake... C.C is usually not my dope cause 2 dry but this one was not at all and Omg WOW! Fluffy and Creamy ❤️ Like a good black forest cake version Carrot cake. I begged for the recipe but it's secret recipe from Anna's GM from GM's friend etc.

The food was good but the dessert average. The gofio mousse was not very good and there was only one left. We ordered Gomero liquor and they didn't have it either (Gomeron). It's a shame for an establishment like this that says it offers authentic and local food. We made the museum visit. They sell Gomeron in the store but they don't serve it in the restaurant. How odd! We also asked in the store if we could buy bananas because they had many in the garden but they didn't sell them either and they didn't offer us to try them either! Bad experience! If you want to promote local products you have to try them!

A great restaurant. Delicious food with friendly service. The dishes are very tasty. You can also share each dish, so the two of you can taste so much more. We ate there no fewer than three times during our stay. This restaurant offers many specialties that La Gomera has to offer. During our stay we made a different choice every day to discover as much as possible. The friendly waiters also told us about the various delicious wines produced locally on La Gomera. Definitely worth it! Montoro's wines were our favorites. It is also good to know that reservations were not necessary during the low season. The restaurant is open every day of the week. The portions are on the large side and the costs are on the low side.

During the appetizers we strongly recommend the eggplant strips and gomeran causa (the eye eats with them). The "medium spicy" with the cress soup was rather mild. The main courses were delicious. Tinto de Verrano is delicious. The head waiter is incredibly nimble and attentive. Unfortunately, he is also the only one with English skills, so the service sometimes stalls a bit.

We were there around 5 p.m. Perfect time, there was nothing going on and we could choose our own seats. The service was great, made suggestions about the order in which the starters should come (we ordered 2 to share). Very friendly! The food was great! Short waiting times, everything fresh! We were there with a small child and that wasn't a problem at all, super considerate!

While the food and location were excellent the experience was ruined by the our bringing us the most expensive wine on the menu when we had asked for Vino del Casa. He took advantage of the fact that we had little or no Spanish. It was the first time we experieced sharp practice like this in all our time on the island. Not a surprise that it was not on our accommodation' recommended list. Customers beware!!

Dear customer, Thank you very much for sharing your experience with other users, it helps us to grow. You asked for a fruity wine from La Gomera and we kindly served it to you. All the prices of our wines are listed in detail in the menu, on the first page of the menu. We have the menu in four languages so that the customer, if he has difficulties in the language, can simply point out on the menu what he wants. We hope to see you again in our restaurant, we work very hard to satisfy our customers and to create a gratifying experience for them. Best regards from the Los Telares team.

Because of the reviews here and on Google, we didn't vary from this restaurant and were happy with almost everything we ordered over 3 nights. In order, our favorites were - 5 spice chicken; Fiesta carne; goat stew and pork cheeks (tied); tuna steak; and hamburger (probably the worst burger I have ever had - so overcooked it was dry and firm). We enjoyed trying the local wines, both by the bottle and by the glass. Service was good, even when they were short staffed. The Barraquitos I enjoyed were the best I had throughout all the islands (and we visited all 7)!

Best restaurant by far in Hermigua. Not sure why it is number 3 on TA when it beats the others hands down. We tried them all and came back here two as food was far better and fresher. Each dish we had tasted fab and was clearly cooked fresh to order. Very friendly staff and service

Creative menu, well executed, partly with an Asian touch. The waiters sometimes put on a bit of a show because apparently all the tables are reserved. At least now in February you can always find a spot. ;-)
