We're here on holiday and visited for a Saturday lunch. A great little local with an excellent menu - lots of variety including many gluten free as well as vegan options, plus an excellent wine and beer menu. The only disappointment was that I orderd...the Ika Mata. Having visited the Cook Islands many times, this should not be called Ika Mata. What they are serving here is a marinated (beautifully fresh and local, admittedly) raw fish which has been a ANNIHILATED by adding a LOT of sugar .... what a shame to do this to such an amazing natural ingredient. Perhaps the chef was having a bad day but in my experience marinated raw fish should be acidic, and certainly not sweet like this offering. I would definitely come back but would steer well clear of the so called IKA MATA.More

Absolutely delicious pizza & Fries. Really Tasty beer. It is a little pricey but absolutely worth it. 10 out of 10 would recommend.

Myself, my son and daughter and grandchildren went to McLeods during our stay at Waipu Cove. Its was fantastic! The service and food were outstanding. My squid plate was melt in the mouth. It has a great atmosphere and is buzzy and fun. Great for...all age groups. We will definitely be back.More

Came by on a busy Saturday afternoon and was told could be a 40 minute wait - only waited maximum ten minutes before our buzzer went off. Ordered the prawn linguine (which I couldn't stop thinking about for weeks, but on a subsequent visit was...no longer on the menu) which was absolutely deliciously decadent . The chips had an amazing crunch to them, and the take home pizza was sublime. 10/10 was very impressed with t e food and the serviceMore

On recommendation we stopped here for lunch. What a great place, craft beers, pizzas and a nice menu of other food. A lot of historical memorabilia to look at too. Nice staff, nice food -- a must stop if you are passing by.

This is a must stop if you are travelling through. Historic post-office turned into a pub crammed with character. Glorious craft beer and you can buy bottles to take away, we loved Scottish Amber Ale. Pizza packed full of flavour, the smokey bacon was amazing.

What's not to like. The epic pizza's are only outmatched by world class craft beer. The staff are awesome, and the atmosphere is great for all kinds of people.

We dropped in for dinner on our way through Waipu, we were recommended by friends to visit McLeod's. The bar has so much to look at inside with historical artifacts a beautiful open fire and a great decor to match. They also are a boutique...brewery with their own labeled beer, a nice selection on the menu for everyone.More

We live a few doors away and go there regularly as well as sending guests from our Beeline Cottage Airbnb. There are definitely no dogs allowed at The Pizza Barn.
