Cawnpore 1857 is really fine dine place of Kanpur i think. The great service and rich taste in food justify the high prices to an extent.

This must be the most expensive high end restaurant in Kanpur. They serve Indian food. The service is impeccable and so is the taste. The live music is also good. Yhe ambience and decor of the restaurant is well done. Kudos!

this place is one of the best in kanpur
as the title says ....
there are very few classy places in kanpur
and this is one of them
I Really loved the ambiance, the food and the people here.
on my visit to kanpur, I make sure to visit here.
highly recommended for a classy experience.

This restaurant has great decor and ambiance. All items we ordered was good in terms of taste, quality and quantity. Service was equally good.

Have visited many times.Superb ambience great food not much choice but service is good .Would be better if nobody sings . I prefer soft music in the background.A bit overpriced .

It's a nice restaurant based on the concept of history of Kanpur.
Located on the 10th floor of Landmark hotel it is accessible by the lift in the hotel.
Prior reservations can be done.
There is live music as in a singer with recorded music. Good selection of music though the singer isn't the best they could get.
The set up is nice and staff courteous. The food is better than Waterside.
It was a good experience all together.

Though very overpriced, I like Cawnpore 1857 primarily for its ambience. It is very classy and elegant. The food is good and so are the drinks. I have had red wine sangria a few times and except once, it was never disappointing. Also, I like their apple rabdi.

I have been there with my wife and every thing was so pleasant that we both enjoyed a lot. The dinner served was most delicious. I love to be again....

Five stars to the staff and service👍🏼. They are the reason people will visit here again. Very friendly and courteous. The food is equivalent good here. Visit here for authentic north indian food.

I been here for my dinner with my family to celebrate My Wife Birthday and again I found very soothing music as per my preference and we had our food here which is very Delicious. Thanks for Mr Ram Prakash, He was the one who gave us nice choice of food and he took care of us very well. It was awesome day with my wife.
