Was greeted immediately by the Manager and seated promptly, not too many patrons at this stage but by the time we left the place was full. Food was yum and provided a doggy bag for my leftovers. Friendly staff with a great small town feel...More

Had a really nice lunch there, but the thing that made this a really good experience was the owner of the Pub. You need to go there to see for yourself. Food was very good and not expensive.

Excellent Coffee! I had the vegetarian brunch stack. It was very nice, but made vastly better with the addition of bacon. There was 4 of us and we all enjoyed our meals. Though I have to say 40 minutes is a bit long to wait...More

Thanks for your review!!! Glad you enjoyed the food and coffee, and sorry about the wait!! While sometimes it may appear that it's not busy, you never know what goes on behind the scenes, ie large takeaway or catering orders, functions due to arrive. We...More

We celebrated a birthday recently at Austins. The menu only had a few choices, which was fine but nothing vegetarian unless it was a starter or quesadillas. A bit disappointing in this day and age. The young waitress was pleasant but not very well informed....More

Sorry you felt this way, a shame you didn't choose to discuss your issues with us at the time. Your function requested vegetarian options of which we provided 3 choices including burgers, and you also had the choice of at least 4 cabinet items on...More

Wonderful surprise, food was beautifully presented and very tasty. Servings were ample though not over-generous. Service excellent, waitress showed great professionalism, not expected in such a small town.

We've been to Austin's three times in one month for the seafood chowder. The chowder comes with bread but we always order a freshly baked cob loaf to share. The balsamic vinegar accompanying the loaf is the best we've ever had. Friendly staff, cosy and...More

I haven't visited this location for about 15 years, in one of its previous incarnations, so on a chilly winter day I decided to check it out for an early lunch. It was mostly empty but I was attracted to the cosy little lounge area...More

The title pretty much says it all. The staff are certainly country, No one said thank you. The water glasses dumped on the table in a stack. Medium steak was still bleeding. In saying that though, plenty of locals enjoying the fareMore
