After being closed for months, Chiado is reopened and serving only dinner from Thursday to Sunday. Service is great as usual; so friendly and always welcoming. We had the tuna tataki (always a favourite)and scallops ( new for me, recommended by Karmen. So tender!); and for main the duck breast and beef tenderloin which were both flavourful and delicious. Thank you Karmen and Jervis for their excellent service and Warren for his amazing cocktails. Cant wait to come back again :)

Chiado is an excellent Portuguese restaurant in a beautiful setting and magnific food. It is not the old traditional Portuguese food, but the gastronomy of Portugal as a base for modern cuisine. The environment is excellent, the staff very professional, and the restaurant is spacious. I have appreciated the contemporary codfish dishes, salads, and desserts. Chiado is a highly recommended restaurant, and the only negative side is the lack of a children's menu. Therefore, it is not the kind of restaurant for a family with several young kids: nonetheless, an excellent experience.

It's great to see Chiado open again and even better to come back and enjoy the new dishes. The scallops had a great sauce and were perfectly tender and the duck main course was a pleasant surprise, so flavorful and the addition of the foie gras wonton brings the dish together. Thank you Karmen for the wine and food recommendation, Jervis for the great service and Warren for the amazing cocktails and friendly conversation.

Went here for a crescendo dinner for a two day trip to Macau, and it did not disappoint. From the moment we entered, the staff were attentive and friendly in English, especially Gin, Maggie, and Sand made the evening lovely.
We both had the degustation menu with a bottle of Portuguese white wine and each course was delicious and beautifully constructed.
Gin introduced each course so we knew exactly what we were eating, and the wholemeal bread with goats cheese and olive oil was a lovely side.
Can also recommended the white port with tonic as a nice starter drink. It's not exactly cheap, but it's easily worth the money. The degustation menu was 888 MOP plus 10 % service charge per person, cocktails around 90-110 MOP, and wine starting at around 300 MOP for a bottle.
The location is in The Londoner hotel, which made me a bit suspicious at first, but this place is incredible quality, both food and overall experience.

If you are looking for some places to celebrate special occasion, this restaurant is one of the great choices. Remember, call the restaurant first to make a reservation and check is available or not. It was my first time been here with the new concept Portuguese food. Highly recommend the bacalhau since it’s a great combination with egg yolk, potato cake and onion purée. Tuna tataki Salad makes me feel refreshed. Besides, the service team is great and it was nice to have some talk with the manager, Joao and Jervis is nice, patient and professional with a great explanation for the dishes and makes me feel comfortable and enjoy for the whole meal. Also thank you Enrique for some nice food recommendation.

There was also an open terrace in the restaurant area of the hotel, and the atmosphere was stylish.
It was easy to get in because it was smart casual rather than the image of a respected shop.
The staff also explained the food to me attentively and I got a taste of authentic Portuguese food.
I made a reservation and went, but I was able to ask for a la carte as well as a course meal, and the appetizer, main dish, and side dish were relatively full for the two of us.

From the moment you enter the restaurant until you leave, they make you feel like you are very special. Although we arrived a bit late for dinner, they still served us elegantly. It is not only serving, but also they give a brief info about the restaurant's history and the chefs, then explain each dish separately. Special thanks to Sand and Jerome for their attention to us. The food is masterpiece prepared by Michelin starred chefs with unique taste. One of the coolest restaurants that I have been.

As I stepped into Chiado, the renowned two-star restaurant known for its exquisite cuisine, I knew I was in for a night to remember. From the moment I was greeted by the impeccable service of Gin, Jerome, and Takeit, I knew I was in good hands.
The ambiance was elegant and inviting, with soft lighting and soothing music playing in the background. The menu was a culinary masterpiece, with each dish expertly crafted and bursting with flavor. From the delicate seafood appetizers to the decadent desserts, every bite was a delight to the senses.

Really enjoyable spending a delicious dinner in this restaurant. The fusion Portuguese food is good and tasty, the staff like Jerome, Steven, Sand, Jarvis are very professional with kind services and detailed explanation of each food. All these services take me spending an unforgettable birthday celebration with my sister 💝

Went there for a birthday celebration. The food was nice, service was top notch, staff there were well trained, especially their staff Jervis, he was very patient and answered all questions.
Knowing its for a birthday celebration the restaurant gave us a small cake, perfect for tourists, save me the hassle looking for a cake.
He doubled confirmed with the kitchen with our food allergy for the food that we ordered, as well as closely monitoring the speed we finish our dishes, without disturbing our time, despite he was serving multiple table at the same time!
We had a great time there and once again thanks Jervis for serving us!

Very good food with free bread basket, caviar appetiser and house made Portuguese egg tarts. The 2 signature main dishes were great and filling. The servers Sand and Gin were attentive to our needs and explained the components of the dishes. Overall a wonderful experience.

We had an absolutely wonderful time in Chiado Macau! The whole dinner experience was amazing! The decoration is very elegant and full of European atmosphere, the staff are very attentive, especially Gin & Joromo, their service is excellent I would definitely recommend and can't wait to visit next time.
The snacks are very unique and the presentation is quite exquisite, very appetizing. The main dish is suckling pig, which is roasted to a crispy texture, crispy on the outside and soft on the inside, without feeling too greasy. The other is slow-cooked egg yolk snow fish, which is of a very high standard, delicious and tender. It can be seen that it is made with care. The seafood and citrus yuzu sorbet is the most I like dessert , I will definitely try it next time.
