Would certainly go back: tastefull food and attentive service. After several diners at Salo harbour, this felt really like dining. Authentic place, personal service, nicely dressed table. The actual restaurant is not the picture you see, but a tastefull hide away above the actual place....After dinner you can have a stroll through the lovely village.More

So we have been staying at village weekend glamping and wanted somewhere to Experience the real Italy dining and wine experience, not just the usual pasta and pizza houses. This place is exactly that. Renato the owner and host was exceptional on all levels and...his wife cooked the best of local produce for me and my family. Beautiful traditional restaurant and would be an amazing place for a family diner party. Thank you for our best Evening on our holidays. Steve tan Sofia and Franco. We will see you again next year.More

Approaching Garda I was a bit concerned to be caught up in roadside diners offering food that I wouldn’t care for. After all it’s a popular place for tourists. This sometimes affect both food and service - forgive my prejudice. This is a pearl though...- hidden in turning backstreets it is The One Place you need to visit. All is made from local produce, their own bread and breadsticks. A small menu which they execute very well. I will share with you a photo of the best risotto I’ve had for months. A lime risotto with raw, cubic shaped salmon with pistachio sprinkle. You should order the local white wine, smooth, fruity and a bit more mineral tasting. Go for the more expensive - you won’t regret it...More

Very nice host who is very proud on his family who is running this restaurant with him. The food and wines are very good! And not expensive at all! A hidden pearl!

Cosy place, excellent food with the little ‚extra‘ -not the normal stuff- and a wonderful service. The place to go when you’re around. We will miss it! (That’s why we took some of the wine with us.) Ciao!!

Having visited this part of the world over the last eleven years - this is the best restaurant we have eaten in. Tucked away in a characterful village is this awesome historical treat. The ambiance hits you as soon as you approach. The service is...attentive and the menu, though small - has so many mouthwatering options. The food is beautifully prepared and presented - all fresh local produce. Every thing we ate was prepared in their own kitchen even the bread sticks, bread rolls, biscuits, and chutney! There is one bad review on TripAdvisor - about lunch - this is obviously a mistake as the restaurant doesn’t open for lunch - this review should be removed as it is incorrect. This restaurant is the best around.More

We were met with a warm welcome from the owner and shown to a choice of tables including a lovely romantic one on its own balcony inside the restaurant- magical. The ambiance and setting is perfect. The food was absolutely spot on, tasty and plentiful....We had cheese to start, pork and king prawns for main. It was all lovely. The owners who cooked the food and served us were very hospitable. He recommended a wine to our taste which was cheaper than our selection. This was remarkable value and we suggest that you seek this restaurant out and give it a try. We were delighted and are happy to recommend it.More

We had dinner one night as we had been a couple of years previously and remember a nice setting. This time we visited and found that the restaurant had recently changed hands. This was certainly a most pleasant surprise as everything about the food, wine...and service was unforgettable as the quality and standard of cooking was excellent for all dishes. You must try this place and you will not be disappointed!More

We ate here twice for lunch only. Nothing fancy but no complaints for lunch only. On first impression it appears the nicest of the 3 places to eat on the harbour side but the best is next to the lake, sorry don't know the name.
