Cozy seating, delicious food and friendly and helpful staff! Tastiest creme brulee ever! Had a long evening for a nice amount and then slept in one of the hotel rooms. Room had good beds and a nice shower!

We were four during our holiday in Schoorl delicious food. Two people ate a three-course meal. Two more people have taken main course and dessert. It was very, very delicious. The guest room is very cozy. We were treated very nicely and quickly provided with drinks. We had a very nice evening. Thank you for that.

I was taken here by friends. It looks and feels very traditional and local. It quickly filled up whilst we were there, including families with children. The menu is only in Dutch, which is no surprise as it i not in a tourist location, but my friends and the staff were happy to translate.
I ordered the smoked eel fillets as a starter. three long fillets formed the portion, with a little salad and toast. It was fantastic. lightly smoked and delicate of flavour. a must and an new favourite.
This was followed by a "Farmers Schnizzel". This was huge, topped with chopped fried mushrooms and onions, served with a vast array of vegetable dishes for the table. It tasted great, as did the veg. Again washed down with some Ciney beer. The food is well worth the visit if you find yourself in the Schoorldam area

Food moderate, meat cooked through. Raw food not fresh. With the coffee was a chocolate , Later a bowl of chocolates was added . Oh what a lot we said. Turned out on the bill 3.95.
