Stopped off for a coffee and snack before hitting the road for a couple more hours. Very friendly and cheerful service. Tea and food all good. Definitely worth a visit

Lovely diverse and modern food. The pulled pork nachos were very good. Nice indoor outdoor flow. Would’ve like to seen maybe a few more menu items.
Stopped in for lunch at Miss Cocoa Coffee while on a visit to the Aviation Museum. I had the BBQ Pulled Pork nachos which were delicious. Coffee was pretty good too.
5 star service from Steph and Tineachsa. Was the best eggs bene i’ve had and delicious bagel. Brenna and Sarah
Great coffee, delicious quiche and salad. Friendly service. A lovely rural spot to stop and break the journey.
The Food was nice but let down by serving on two plates that had two big chips on both plates that stood out , it gave a bad impression before we even tasted food. Cannot understand how that could happen. The person plating up must...be blind. We biff out any plates with chips on them for hygienic reasons. just an observation , hope things improve if we call in next time. thanks for the oppurtunity .......... Other than that service was good.More
We recently went to Miss Cocoa Coffee for a mid week lunch. I chose the Eggs Benedict with Bacon, hubby chose the Seafood Chowder. My eggs were served on hash browns, which unfortunately were undercooked (my pet hate undercooked spuds!!). Rest of the meal was...ok. Hubby's chowder was nice and hot, with a reasonable flavour, but way too thick - consistency was like cold porridge!! 😝 Not the best lunch we have had, so probably won't try there again for awhile.More
We came here on a Saturday and had a yum scone and great coffee. Saw a tiger moth taking off which made it even better! Is now called The Moth cafe I think?
Lovely warm welcome, super light lunch of sandwiches and coffee and on their recommendation we visit the art gallery next door that was in the reception area for the aviation museum. The latter was a great find. Spent ages chatting there and ended up climbing...onboard the railway engine they are restoring after salvaging it from a river. So interesting and such lovely people. Theirs is not a business it is a love affair with aircraft and trains which they have a passion to share with others. They really deserve to succeedMore
This little restaurant is at the Mandeville Airport, a small grass strip north of Gore on the main highway. It has a charming interior with an eclectic but good variety of food. We stopped for tea and scones. It seems to attract a mix of...locals and travelers, and you have a view of the little airport which has a single grass runway. There is a nice store attached. Just outside there is a terrific museum with a variety of restored vintage aircraft - a mini-history of New Zealand aviation. We wound up lingering in the café and then the museum for several hours. Most people call this place the Moth, which I believe was its former name, and it has a loyal following.More
