Stopped here for breakfast. Apparently it is the only cafe in Ranfurly that serves menu meals. The coffee was great as was the eggs with Salmon and Hollandaise sauce that we ordered. The lady owner has been there 12 years and she was very friendly but is trying to sell the cafe and have more time to herself as its a 7 day a week business. You cant go wrong to stop here even the cabinet food looked delicious.

Wonderful warm friendly service and a fantastic selection of home baked delights. There is also a very comprehensive menu to choose from if for some reason the sandwiches and savories don't tempt you!. Our long black coffees are always served perfectly with hot water on the side and the egg sandwich filling is super generous and super fresh. Highly recommended.

Open over easter which was a bonus . We visited this cafe 3 times while staying at the NZMCA camp for easter. Highly recommend the superior chees rolls, big breakfast and my grandson devoured the hotcakes, saying they were the best he has ever had.

29/12 intended having coffee and lunch and asked for coffee "extra hot" but the response was a surly silence. I only said "thank you" when I eventually got an acknowledgment that this was possible. I decided to forget having lunch and go elsewhere if this was the best level of service she could mange.
The coffee was worse than you might get at McDonalds with an unpleasant acrid taste. The owner needs to take a trip to the Hari Hari cafe and do a refresher course there.

Stopped in for breakfast on our way through to Clyde. Even though technically after the breakfast cut off time the chef kindly did a full breakfast for the husband and I had a rosti with bacon, good sized meals, good coffee and helpful staff. Took away a date scone for our travels as stopped there in the past for a coffee and scone and they were excellent

Ranfurly is a popular stopping place on the Rail Trail and this cafe is a perfect place to stop and refuel. Great coffee and a very nice range of food, served by friendly local people. Well worth a stop.

We stopped here for lunch when cycling the Otago Rail Trail. Food and coffee was fantastic. The cafe is very popular with locals and tourists and we were made very welcome by a group of older local ladies who had just completed their weekly exercise classes. We had a lovely, memorable ,lunch stop. Highly recommended.

We popped into this cafe for a coffee prior to starting another day on the trail. We had an excellent coffee and then bought sandwiches and muffins to eat for lunch on the trail. The sandwiches were mixed, my ham was very good but the bacon was less so-they still got eaten though.

We stopped here and bought some sandwiches to take with us on the trail. Lots of choice, fresh and delicious. Would recommend doing this if you want a light meal as you go.

The Barista was very unfriendly.
When we arrived she was moaning to another customer about covid & the potential for being infected. For someone who is so concerned you would think they would have standard level 2 precautions. The tables were not separated, staff not wearing masks & no contact-less payment option.
We stopped by on the way to Queenstown for breakfast. It would have been nice if we had been informed they had a breakfast menu. We had to settle for cabinet food.
Coffee was weak & tasteless.
If this is the only place open would suggest you keep on driving.
