We stayed at the hotel for 2 nights, and both nights we had supper at the restaurant. Very nice setting. Food was very good, with many local specialities. Prices are reasonable. They also have a very comprehensive wine list. Would go again.

Cannot say enough about this beautiful hotel... we have enjoyed two wonderful meals there and are currently staying in a spacious and nicely decorated room with magnificent views from two windows out to the snow covered mountains. This hotel is rated 3 stars but the...rent renovations and the staff make this hotel a 5 star experience. Would highly recommend this hotel over any others in the area.More

We had a lovely 2 night stay at the hotel and had breakfast and dinner. The food was wonderful staff friendly and our accomodation very comfortable. Poschiavo is the birth place of my husbands family so many things of interest to see around the town...and the mountains are amazing.More

While driving driving from the Engadine through Poschiavo and Tirano to Lake Como due to a massive landslide on the direct road I found myself in Poschiavo at lunchtime. The very well filled parking lot of the Croce Bianca Hotel beckoned invitingly. The facility has...been renovated recently and looks spectacular to my eye. The restaurant also is furnished and decorated with great taste. My wife and I must adhere to a strict diet which the waiter understood immediately. He suggested a dish that was ample, tasty, and adhered to every aspect of our diet. The experience warrants returning to this place. Additional observation: What stands out for me is the fact that the waiter didn't try to explain how taste would suffer from a preparation according to our restrictions, as has been encountered so often by me in Switzerland. The price was pretty much in line with Swiss customs albeit steep by US measures.More

On the southern side of the Bernina Pass this restaurant offers a very nice stop for lunch. The village is interesting to walk around. The restaurant is one of two n the main square. The menu is varied and ranges from pizza (many varieties) to...salads, soups and pasta. The service is good, and prices are reasonable for Switzerland.More

Came here for a business lunch. We have been warmly welcomed by the waiters. Ordered a beef filet with fries and vegetables. Salad as precourse. The beef was delicious, just perfectly done. Attention to detail in the preparation of the vegetables and the fries very...crispy. delicious! But the best was the dessert. Hazelnut-Icecream with Amaretto. couldn't get enough!More

Can't remember how we found this..... Several antique timber adorned rooms on 1st floor and modern timber rooms on 2nd, prefererred the former. Very comfortable, clean and helpful staff. There's a smoking only downstairs Bar but on the 1st floor a couple of beautiful old...rooms with tables in white linen+silver service fir dinner. Wine was local ...Merlot and excellent. Not a 5 Star hotel but a great old Swiss one!!More
