All round - just a great country pub. The owner is always there making sure people are happy. The food is value for money and tastes great. Its a busy place, but they seem to get the food out quickly.Worth a visit.

We stayed at a motel nearby, partly because of the reviews of The Plough. The best pub we've eaten in on our travels through NZ. Luckily for us the owners mother is a Coeliac, so my wife and I (both coeliacs) ate very well. We...More

Great Family friendly restaurant. Very good food friendly and efficient staff. In desperate need of refurbishment especially the carpet which had at least one hole covered in silver sticky tape. Spotlessly clean well worth the visit. Fairly busy for a Sunday night.

Though the decor needs updating, this place has it's own homely charm with a great atmosphere! The place was busy for Saturday night dinner with plenty of thirsty punters/hungry diners and our big group was no exception! Service was rather slow given we'd been seated...More

Good local kiwi pub, food is Good, nice staff, the whole place could do with a revamp or new carpet at least, but well worth a visit regardless.

A wonderful friendly Historic styled restaurant and bar with a warm inviting atmosphere. Owners and staff who love what they do will ensure dining out is easy and enjoyable. Very family friendly with a playground, huge garden and plenty of toys. Also very suitable for Grandma and Grandad with smaller meal options and plenty of space. Carpet to keep the noise down. A busy restaurant 7 days per week ensures all meals are made fresh daily there is plenty of selection. All day dining so the kitchen is open no matter how early or late you wish to eat. Come on down and check out the new old decor. Showing off the history of Rangiora and the surrounds.
