This place is all about the views! The food is okay, but the view and atmosphere makes it an excellent pit stop on the way to the Hooker Valley Track! Here you can see people taking the helicopter tours so do expect some noise from...More

Had just a couple of coffees and a hot chocolate! We were served by Monica what a breath of fresh air. Very helpful and awesome service! Thanks for making us feel so welcome!

We stopped here for a quick meal enroute to our hike at Mt Cook. Although we arrived in the early afternoon, they were unfortunately understaffed that day so we could only pick from a limited menu. The food was just OK but we really wanted...More

Too expensive and not worthy: 63 dollars for two great plates of fries with a few other stuff and they don’t taste good. However, the cafe’s view is marvellous, I have to admit.

This is within the Glentanner visitor centre on the road to Mt Cook and it makes no attempt to outperform the typical visitor centre cafe. There were some stodgy-looking sandwiches and pies in the window and a similar cooked menu with very little in the...More

We were staying at the Glentanner Park and found the lunch to be quite good. Just wish they had been opened later than 4:30 to have gotten something in the evening. There are places to eat in the Mt Cook Village that are over 30...More
