Great food for fair prices. Not a lot of choices in the village, but this one I would highly recommend!

This place is part of the reason I love returning to Mt Cook so often. The smoked salmon is divine & it's a lovely place to sit before and after walks in the National Park. So many interesting things to look at on the walls...More

Oh that's great to hear although we wish you'd asked for another coffee, which we would have gladly provided. Travel safe.

Want a coffee or a meal then is a great place to stop in and enjoy. Interesting photos on the wall as well of the early days of mountaineering in Mt Cook National Park.

I did investigate your complaint and found you ordered a takeaway cappuccino which you received. The cup was the regular size. You complained there wasn't sufficient milk, so the staff offered to add extra, with no problem. The manager politely tried to help as it...More

The views were amazing. Food is expensive but yum. Unfortunately the coffee was extremely weak. Free parking out the front. Clean bathrooms

Glad you enjoyed it. Very odd about the coffee as we serve double shots unless people ask for single. Would have been very happy to make another but too late if you don't say anything while you're there.

Had a BLT and asked for my usual mocha with my meal. Coffee didn't arrive till I was nearly finished. Staff were pleasant . Nice place to have lunch on a beautiful mid August day.

The Salmon dish in the Mains is probably the best salmon we have ever eaten. It is fresh water salmon, farmed nearby and it was not as heavy or rich the way salmon can sometimes get. It was light, really tasty and the hollandaise sauce...More
