Fabulous Food

Our dinner at Ski Time was great! Excellent service and lovely menu with fresh produce cooked with flair. Well done! We all ate different meals and my Akaroa salmon was delicious. Would definitely eat here again.

Cosy Classic Northern Hemisphere Lodge Vibe in a breathtaking location

We stayed at Ski Time in the second to last weekend of the ski season and it blew me away. The service was friendly, the room was perfect and really clean and warm. Coming down to the restaurant and having a glass of wine in front of the fire before a day up the mountain was just dreamy. The informative and smiley staff made it so much fun and the lodge made me feel like we'd been transported to a ski town in the Northern Hemisphere. A wonderful trip and a great place. Tip: Get breakfast included. It's the perfect fuel for a day up the snow or exploring the beautiful area.

Favourite in Methven

We are at a lot of different places during our week in Methven and this was by far my favourite. Food was cooked to perfection, service was warm and friendly and the old school ski decor and roaring fireplace made the whole cozy atmosphere. Can’t wait to return one day soon.

Hazelnut Cheesecake is amazing!

2nd time going to Ski Time for dinner in September both times the food was outstanding. The Salmon is fresh and delicious and the lamb rack very juicy and mouth watering. The hazelnut cheese cakes is one of the best desserts I've had in NZ in the 17 years I've lived here. Sweet, sour, crunchy, smooth ut has amazing taste and texture.

Great place to stay and eat

We stayed at the Ski Time lodge. Great location, friendly staff, great value including breakfast. Had dinner in the restaurant one night, really enjoyed the food and ambience.

Fantastic stay and dinner at Ski Time

We had a great stay at Ski Time . We were a group of 16 staying 2 nights . Dinner was just so good and the service was outstanding! The 2 and 3 bedroom units were very comfortable and spacious . Would highly recommend and will definitely be back !

Great stay with my son whilst competing at a local ski comp. Room well appointed and restaurant was outstanding. Many thanks to the friendly and professional staff. Made for a memorable stay. We will be back next year!

Recommend - solid option

Have stayed and eaten here each july for past 4 years and everything is great. Friendly and helpful staff, great lounge with a warming fire, restaurant food are good .. from us 3, we can recommend the steak, risotto and lamb shank .. we made the mistake of going to Aqua and Dubliner for other nights which were very average in comparison .. it seems that a change of ownership has not been good for these places.

Excellent steak dinner

Once again stayed for 5 nights - lovely clean, large and warm rooms with a great breakfast - friendly service. Steak dinner was fantastic - medium rare with a good portion of vegs - had with the excellent pepper sauce plus a nice glass of red. Service was very good Best of all the meals I had in Methven

Outstanding experience

My partner and I had a starter and a main (the steaks are amazing) and the food is outstanding, the service is absolutely second to none and would one hundred percent recommend, If you are in methven town this is a must stop for a delicious meal, good company and a welcoming atmosphere. Can’t recommend enough.
