Nice evening meal

Went to this establishment while staying in Methven. Went there with a group of 20, the meals came out in stages which is understandable for a group of this size however some of the group had finished their meals before others had arrived. Food was nice and tasty, service was fair.

Delicious evening meal

Walked in after having a tour of Mt Sunday. The restaurant was almost vacant as it was a Monday night. All our servings were generous and my husbands' meal was nice and spicy hot, like he requested. All our meals arrived in a timely manner.

Nice but disorganised buffet.

Came here on a Sunday night for the buffet with my wife and baby. Buffet was supposed to start at 4 but when we got there at 4.05 only the soup was ready. By 4.45 all the dishes were ready and we had been able to eat as it came out which meant it was fresh, but definitely would have preferred it to have all been ready when we arrived. The taste was good and for $29/person it was good value. Not sure I would come back but it was decent food and worth the price.

Substandard food.

My husband and I entered this restaurant considering the buffet, however, thank goodness we looked before paying as the choice was minimal and the trays almost empty and had been sitting there awhile. My husband ordered take out Next Door while I went for a chicken veggie cashew nut dish to take away. This was a real disappointment and I would never go there again. Chicken was so tough it was either overcooked or cooked many times or reheated. Same with the vegetables and you can tell when cashew nuts are stale. Very disappointing.

Yummy Thai food!

Pop over for dine-in dinner near their closing hour and they graciously grant us a table. We ate Tom yum soip with prawn and rice, and green curry with chicken and rice. Both are delicious and authentic Thai cuisines. Highly recommended!

Disappointing

Stunningly poor The Thai buffet was the worst I’ve ever tasted - putrid protein, clearly out of date vegetables that looked like they had been reheated for the fifth serve!! The front of house staff were very nice tho. I dont want to pile on to the hospo sector after a difficult ski season But this meal was extraordinarily poor Avoid at all costs

Sunday night. Not a customer to be seen. Told it would take 25mins to cook some thai food? Hmm.. okay then. Come back 30 mins later. Oh its still going to be another 10 mins? What are they doing? Growing the carrots? I'd hate to imagine what the wait would be if it was busy!?!?!

Banging Thai buffet

In town for the night, stumbled across Thai Chilli whilst walking about - $15 for large take out buffet, bargain, and decent veggie options! Totally stuffed afterwards. Would definitely go back again! Friendly staff and tasty food.

Not bad, but not at the top of my list

Called in mid-week and no trouble getting a table - we were the only customers. Service polite and meals arrived promptly. Not quite as good as hoped but did the job. They offer a self service from pre-cooked meals which seemed popular but not my preference.
