Tootling through Kaiapoi off the motorway, a sign advertises $10 meals. Find me somewhere else you can get food this good for such a small price. It's warm, it's friendly; the view and the food are good and it is popular with groups. Fish and...chips and various pub meals and pies and sandwiches are available. Fill up, then check at the front desk to see if you do a round on the other 18 holes of this course.More

Following past excellent meals here, we arranged to meet friends for a pre Christmas lunch. I think it may have changed hands as the food was terrible. The fish and chips wasn’t the large battered fish of previous visits but dry pre-crumb coated pieces which...were unappetising. The snitzel was dry and over cooked. The place is usually full of people but there was only one other group in the restaurant which should have given us a clue. The waitress was surly and didn’t crack a smile the whole visit. We will definitely NOT be returning.More

We took our grandson there for lunch and the staff were wonderful. The meals were great value for money and we enjoyed them. I had the fish, while my husband and grandson had the Steka.

This is a nice place to sit outside with a nice view of the golf course and they also welcomed my dog. I found the staff friendly and accommodating, and the coffee was great. The food was very average, I had fish and chips but...it just seemed to be straight from the freezer and into the deep fryer so not very tasty, however I will definitely return for the lovely staff and views and probably try something else from the menuMore

We came here for lunch, had quite a variety on the menu but when we went to order half the items on there were not available. Food arrived in a reasonable time and was a nice meal.

This cafe was recommended by a friend and we weren't disappointed. We went on a lovely sunny day and the views of the golf course were stunning. The staff were friendly and the service good. The hoki was the best we have had in a...long time, large, light batter, hot and tasty. The accompanying salad and chips were also good. For your $10 you also get tea or coffee which made it a very good value meal. The place filled up as the golfers came off the course and by 1pm were very busy. We would definitely go again.More
