A really great place. If you want to eat well, this restaurant is the place to be. Even though it was very late, I was given a very warm welcome and spent a wonderful evening there. On the recommendation of the chef, who asked me what I wanted and then advised me, I ordered my meal à la carte and was very pleasantly surprised. The dinner was really delicious and plentiful and I felt very comfortable the whole time. The prices are also reasonable and you just have a good feeling there. To round things off, the chef treated me to a homemade pomegranate liqueur, a real treat. The man speaks fluent German and I had a very pleasant conversation with him. Here the customer is truly still king - a completely unique experience. I would love to come back.

I always like to return to this sunny seaside village with a wonderfully extensive coastline that flows into a turquoise sea, where in summer the shades of blue are infinite.
For thirty years now I have been visiting the local restaurants, trattorias and clubs, and apart from two or three certainties which have maintained their level, the rest of the catering industry is now orienting itself towards a mass product, without quality and with poor service, just think that in a country with a very large fishing fleet, a Chinese restaurant serving sushi with frozen fish of unknown origin is enjoying considerable success...
In any case, I went to this restaurant which opened its doors on 5/12/23 on the ashes of the previous restaurant "La lampara" on the advice of friends, and I must say that I was pleasantly surprised. The room has not been changed except in the details of the table service, comfortable seats, spaced tables and pleasant blues music in the background, at a low volume.
We were the only customers, so I can't describe whether the background noise is high with the crowded place, but with about ten tables I don't expect it to be.
The wine list is not extensive, but sufficiently complete with primary Sicilian wines.

We were passing through Licata and we found a little gem there! Salvo is passionate, one of those we love to meet because they transmit the love of their work on the plate and in the welcome. We had the chance to greet the chef and congratulate him.
The dishes were divine, the fish gave the sensation of having just come out of the fishing nets.
We have exceptional memories of these moments (we went to eat there twice in the same day!)
Without a doubt, it’s the best restaurant of our Sicilian trip!

We happened to walk past the restaurant and decided to eat there because of the really nice ambience, which turned out to be an absolute stroke of luck.
Our group included both fish and meat eaters and both were given a very good selection of dishes, all of which tasted fantastic.
For us, this was the best meal we had in Licata.
But what really blew us away was the great and warm service.
We received great advice and every request was met.
You could really feel that it was important to the owner that we had a nice evening and that they were proud of the food they served!
We will definitely come back and look forward to our next visit!

In Licata on holiday we go to the Blue Crab, we are 3 adults and 4 girls aged 5 to 12, as soon as we entered we were greeted by the owner who brings us a blue welcome cocktail, alcoholic for us adults and non-alcoholic for the girls accompanied by shrimp, we order spaghetti with clams, spaghetti with seafood, and fried calamari, all very good, fresh fish, pasta al dente and appetizing. Great food and great service. As soon as we arrived we were immediately pampered with a welcome cocktail, even non-alcoholic to the child, and a fresh raw shrimp. We delighted ourselves with spaghetti with clams, linguine with delicious seafood and grouper ravioli with pistachio pesto nothing short of supreme! Also the main courses really remarkable: we Savored the excellent mixed fry, fried paranza and a nice slice of swordfish. Even the really delicious desserts. What can I say: we left HAPPY
We were welcomed by the professionalism of Salvo, owner of this restaurant near the port of Licata. We had a fish-based dinner: appetizer with octopus and prawn crudités... I would have eaten 3 more dishes. First course with clams and second course with roasted cuttlefish. The quality of the fish is excellent, all fresh. Salvo's kindness was impeccable. A person in love with his work which he transmits to diners with delicacy and elegance. The Chef showed the true philosophy of knowing how to cook fresh fish, without affecting the taste with aggressive ingredients which can very often change the soul of a dish. Well done Chef, well done Salvo. We will definitely return with other friends in this welcoming and peaceful environment. Thanks for the lovely evening. Next time we will also taste the wild fennel liqueur prepared by the same owner.

The food was amazing, the service was exceptional. We came in the off season on a slow night and were treated to special attention from Salvatore, one of the co-owners who was running service that night. He was so kind and genuine, indulged our questions about the region, the cuisine, his history in Licata. I told him I loved one of the dishes (caponata, a classic Sicilian dish) and he explained in detail how to prepare it so that I could attempt it at home. We had an amuse bouche of local white shrimp, caponata, two generous salads, lobster linguine, panna cotta and local wine. Everything was delicious and reasonably priced. A fantastic meal made unforgettable by the stellar service we received from Salvatore. Grazie mille!
