The conference for about 100 guests was booked several months prior with accurate numbers etc.and constantly updated. The set menu, although adequate, was basic. Of the 8 people on our table, 6 had the sirloin stake (I should mention that the previous night 28 of...us decided, last minite, to dine in. Exactly same menu, was DELICIOUS), 5 left at lease half and one had only one bite taken. A glance around the room revealed exactly the same!! VERY TOUGH!! The baked cheesecake tasted burnt and when inspected, was indeed burnt! $55 ripoffMore

The glasses of wine that I received were from 2 nearly empty different bottles and tasted like vinegar. After stating this to Toby he said he would check the date of the bottles. When ordering coffee later I then asked Toby again about the date...of the wine bottles. He admitted that both bottles were out of date. As a regular customer I am extremely disappointed.More

The food was nice but the service was appalling, first the staff argued with us about not having a booking, eventually they found our booking. We had to ask for water twice, we had to ask for drinks and to place our order. We never...got to see the desert menus as the restaurant was closing. Our booking was for 6.30pm Friday night. If I could rate this restaurant any lower I would, don’t bother going if you appreciate service.More

Lovely setting and awesome staff, particularly Keisha who was an awesome ambassador for the business. I was disappointed that the group of truckers that had been drinking in the bar were seated behind us. Their language was loud and appalling , and their standard of...dress terrible. One was wearing gumboots !1 I felt like i was eating in a public bar. The meal came with seasonal vegetables ........ 3 strips of courgettes, a couple pieces of onion and a couple of pieces of peppers. The sauce accompanying my meal was cold, it even had a skin formed on it.I felt it to be a budget offering.More

Very disappointing, was dining on my own and feeling subconscious and ask if I could sit by a window instead of being in the middle of the room was told no as a big group was coming in but I could sit next to the...concrete pillar "no thanks" , they never turned up (would have thought keeping the customer at ease would have been a priority). Ordered lemon lime and bitters, got a lemon cordial. When I asked if it had bitters in it got told did I want a real one hello that's what I ordered. Was so disappointing -  The only redeeming thing was the seafood chowder main meal wasn't anything special. I'm on the road alot and have never had this happen normally I can sit on my own out of the way. Got lost going back to my room as it's like a rat warren. No one around to ask for helpMore

The worst Christmas dinner. So bad it was funny I am posting this since they have not responded to my email. The good parts were fried Brie and fish and chips. Calamari flabby and obviously fried ages before service. The chicken kofta with sauce were...unbelievably terrible. Soup ok .Thanks Watties. The ham dish was 3 slices of dry ham. Chicken main a large lump of underflavoured breast Steak just horrible. Held in warmer far too long Desserts varied between ok and terrible. Deconstructed cheesecake a blob of cream cheese, unflavoured crumb and very nice ice cream. For $75 a head with no drinks should have been better No idea how to Majito eitherMore
