Great menu, great food and a direct website ordering experience that is more detailed to tune your dishes easily and provide pick up eta. If you were looking for the ideal thai model to start a NZ franchise, TWR is sound option.

Nice location with view down the harbour. Steep stairwell to get up to the second floor - not sure if there is easier access. The food was very nice and we both ended up with some to take home for the next day. Fairly standard pricing for Thai food in the area.

My favorite Thai on the Hibiscus Coast. We have been going there for over 20 years and the view is just amazing. We had a lovely family dinner over Xmas and started with the mixed entries. The kids had curries served with a good helping of rice. The duck is my favorite and the men had a sizzling mixed seafood which was delivered in a swan made of tinfoil. Its nice to see someone taking the time to go the extra mile. We hope to keep going there for another 20 years.

Behind the rather worn nondescript entrance lay a warm and welcome restaurant tastefully decorated. Our large group of over twenty were welcomed by friendly staff. With very few other patrons we received good attentive service. We had a set menu of five dishes which were well presented and tasty. I found the dishes a little sweet but others didn’t. Overall a pleasant evening and an enjoyable meal.

Perched on top of the world, on the peninsula, I've been to this restaurant twice in the last couple month as it has been the perfect spot to catch up with an old friend. It's great to get here before dark and gaze over Arkles bay towards Rangitoto, complete with little boats and dogs running around on the beach. Thai windows sits in a skinny, precarious building with an odd staircase and a unique layout - think long and skinny, hugging close to those famous windows. I love the service, it is sweet and quirky. The food is great too: so far I have tried the vegetarian pad thai and the vegetarian green curry, both were great. We also tried a few of the starters: spring rolls, tofu and peanut sauce, and rice paper rolls. Keen to make this restaurant a regular meeting spot and after years of living on the coast and meaning to visit, I'm glad I finally did.

i was very unimpressed with the service,when we were served our entrees we had to ask for side plates so we could share.The entrees were a good start. I had ordered the tom yum soup and was i disappointed it was like insipid sweet dish water, no chilli no lemongrass flavours, when I pointed this out to the staff they said it was made like that to cater to the new zealand taste buds. Hold on, I go to an authentic thai restaurant for an authentic meal not the poor excuse for thai food. I tried the sizzling steak once and found it so sweet I couldn't eat it...what is with all this sugar on food. i won't be back at all, so save your money and eat else where.

What a shame that such a picturesque spot is given to a very mediocre restaurant! The waiter (only one was there) was more interested in watching a loud Thai broadcast on his iPad than serving the customers. By the way, we were the only customers there! The dishes were very small in quantity. They even charged us for a measly little quantity of sauce, which in other Thai, Chinese and Asian restaurants is given free,free to help yourself even at takeaway places. The service all round was poor, poor,poor. What a shame such a picturesque spot is wasted on these guys!

Really authentic spicy tasty Thai food.
Lovely location. You are squashed in close to each other but the lighting is dim so you don’t feel too close. We had fun eavesdropping!!! The food was fabulous but don’t order the chefs special chicken curry unless you like extra extra extra spicy.😱

Really delicious. We had the fish cakes, tofu pad Thai, and the sizzling seafood combination. The seafood combination was wonderfully theatrical (and tasty).

We were staying at Little Manly and bought takeaway lunches to have as an evening meal at the lodge as we didn't want to drive after a couples of drinks on the deck .The Thai food was excellent and reasonably priced so we repeated the exercise the following day.The view from the restaurant is spectacular over Arkles Beach and must be great for guests in the evening. Would definitely recommend!

Have visited thai windows multiple times in the past to dine in. This was our first time ordering for takeaway. I was told we could pick up our order in 25 mins. We turned up to collect only to be told the order was never placed. Despite phone records to prove otherwise. What a waste of time! We won't be ordering from here again that's for sure.

Place has a beautiful view and typical Thai decoration.
Menu is not full of options but food is very flavoured and prices are more than reasonable even more for NZ.
Dessert was also nice.
