This is our favourite whangaparaoa restaurant. Fantastic food, friendly maitre d', gr8 wine selection. Book early, 3sp on a weekend! We went today (Wednesday) and it was still booked out. Love it!

This is our favourite restaurant. The atmosphere is just like a restaurant in Italy. Friendly staff and the manager, Svetlana, is the most welcoming and friendly person. A great asset to the restaurant. We always start with an entree of chicken livers, which are done...with bacon, pasta and an amazing creamy sauce. They just melt in your mouth 👄 I usually have the gnocchi with a creamy gorgonzola sauce. It is heaven on a plate. My husband had the seafood linguini which is packed with seafood done in a tomato pasta sauce. Our friends both had the linguini due mer which was full of mussels in the shell, king prawns, cockles and prawns in a tomato pasta sauce. For dessert the two ladies had the divine Cointreau creme brulee and the gentlemen had gelato. One had pistachio and vanilla and the other one had strawberry and vanilla. We have never had a bad time at this lovely neighbourhood restaurant and lots of other locals go here regularly too. Can't wait for our next outing ❤️🥂More

I arranged an offsite dinner for 40 people on a Saturday night. Liaison with management beforehand was exceptional with genuine interest and concern about providing the best experience possible. All of my guests and I were very satisfied with everything.

Family dinner (5 adults and 3 under 5yrs old), warm welcome including 2 highchairs. Superb food and great service with plenty of wait staff available. Great selection of nice Italian wines too. Impressive.

This intimate restaurant was a very nice surprise. It was highly recommended by our lodge and it surpassed our expectations. The wait staff were friendly and helpful and the owner was a welcoming personality. Had a great, short evening there. They seem to be fully booked every evening, but the owner found a table for us. Had great food and also great wines. Service is great, the menu has enough to come back many times. Our choice was a...tasting platter, filled with fantastic charcuterie, cheeses and bread. Still in our mind.More

I had a very positive experience here - I walked in on a Thursday at 6 without a reservation, they were able to work me in [that being said, reservations are recommended, as seating is limited]. The Scaloppine con Fungi Porcini was AMAZING. Can't wait...to go back.More

Lovely dinner out. Superb menu and very good service!! Food came out beautifully prepared and nice spaces between teen meals which indicates a well run kitchen and front of house. We could have had many things off this well priced menu. The bruschetta, pasta and...risotto dishes we shared, over a bottle of Chianti, took us back to Italy. The place was buzzing with people too and it just felt very homely and well run. Full credit to all the kitchen and front of house staff, this place has a good thing going on and we cannot wait to return.
