Our Whangamata lunch was satisfying and delicious at this unique venue. We had the bang bang chicken salad and prawn dumplings. Both of these were tasty, filling and reasonably priced. 646 is licensed but we went for the fresh juice and so glad we did...as it complemented the dishes so well. Would like to come back and try more of the varied menu.More

We went here for brunch, with one of us with complicated dietary requirements. The staff were extremely helpful and accommodating. They did forget to bring our coffees out, but when prompted, they refunded the cost of them and bought our coffees out within one minute,...with a big apology. The only negative for me was I found the menu very difficult to read, as they have used a very strange looking font.More

Had the eggs bene and their big breakfast AND both were delicious! The poached eggs were perfectly done; nice and runny.

We arrived to dirty tables and few customers. We had a look thru the menu and decided on our meals. It was an inconvenience for staff to break away from their conversation to serve me. I ordered salmon bagel only to be told it was...from the breakfast menu and that finished at noon we arrived at 1230. I asked if they could accomodate this but was denied. It’s a shame that businesses want to turn down customers for inflexible options. We decided to leave. Not what we expectedMore

We were lucky enough to arrive just before the kitchen closed and were very happy with our food. I had the pork dumplings and hubby had the prawn and scallop salad. Both were very tasty and well cooked.

A real treat, everything is so tasty and I'm never disappointed. Only thing is the fresh squeezed juice and smoothies are a liiiiiiiittle pricy but rest assured they are very tasty. Very good for vegetarian and plant based options too

Sorry, I had a lunch here today and that wasn’t really good though. Nice plating, but meal? I had burritos and polenta truffle chips. Why polenta truffle? Where is some flavour? And burritos I would say too much components together make ugly taste.

Went over from Hamilton today just to have breakfast here. The morning glory breakfast was fantastic. My husband loves the kransky sausage. They have a fab selection of different types of tea. I had Salvation tea which was fantastic. Highly recommend this place

My first visit to SixFortySix was a couple of weeks ago where I tried their Avo & Edamame smash. The menu states; Avo & Edamame Smash, poached egg, kale, walnut dukkah, feta & toast. I'm usually one to avoid kale due to bad restaurant experience...however, having a craving for Avo smash I took a shot ... and was certainly impressed! The dish is deeeelish. Packing a punch of flavour, crunchy toast, crispy nibs of dukkah, perfectly poached egg, a (optional) smidge of butter, and matched perfectly with a side note of feta and lemon wedge. On first impression I felt the cafe seemed dark, however with my eyes quickly adjusting to the lighting and greenery with well nourished plants I felt like I was in my own haven. The staff are attentive, yet allow you to enjoy the place at your pace. Well worth a visit... I'll certainly be back.More

A good coffee shop with a great selection of sandwiches and naughty cakes. Staff friendly. Places to sit outside and watch the world go by
