Peppers have just introduced Beyond Meats menu. This includes the 'Beyond Burgers' which we had. This is the official burger, not a copy. It was as tasty as I expected, having had one previously in another restaurant. It comes in a bun loaded with lettuce and tomato and lots of chunky potatoes on the side. We asked for 'no mayo' as we weren't sure if it was vegan. The owner later confirmed that it is not vegan. We suggested that this should be highlighted on the menu to prevent confusion, or that a vegan mayo be included instead. An advertised vegan burger should not have any animal products included. Hopefully this will be a permanent menu item. Would definitely recommend everyone trying it. For the animals, your health and the planet.

Hello, I would like to clarify a misconception. Nowhere did we advertise it as being Vegan. We just launched the Beyond Meat Specials and were sure of it being vegetarian ( as advertised on our menu ). However, to properly be Vegan we need to get a separate grill, investigate the ingredients more thoroughly for animal byproducts and most importantly train staff. Until I am able to accomplish these things, I need to continue to advertise them as vegetarian. Sincerely, Julian

Best Ribs

Peppers is a really clean restaurant first of all. And the Ribs are great. I had the Rib Basket and Holy Smoke...enough food to feed five people. Ribs were cooked true American Style and were falloff the bone tender. Great place and great food.

I liked the food very much (salads and spinach roll) . The food was great and presentation beautiful. Coffee was very excellent. The owners are very pleasant couple, who make you feel special and welcome. I will definitely come back for more.

A most disappointing experience

One of our group of 3 couples suggested we have breakfast at this restaurant before travelling home after our golf trip to Sirindhorn Dam. We were quite excited as we had each heard favourable reports. We phoned ahead to check that they will be open at 08:00am as advertised but told not to arrive before 09:30 else we could get there earlier, say 09:15 and we could wait for staff to arrive. We accepted that arrangement as we had another stop to make. Coffee for each us was ordered but misunderstood by the waitress. My latte was OK but I did ask for a very hot one but given tepid. My wife ordered a latte but given cappuccino which was changed but on the bill they charged her for the one that was a mistake. One of the ladies ordered a double shot of coffee expecting one normal coffee cup with double strength coffee but given a huge overlarge cup with 2 normal coffees? We each ordered breakfast from the extensive & well-presented menu and here as well we had issues. My breakfast included 2 eggs which I requested at the time of order be turned over to make them hard as I do not like soft eggs. Lo and behold they arrived “runny” so I passed that meal to my friend who wished them cooked that way. The owner apologised for the long wait for my eggs to be cooked correctly & I did enjoy them when they arrived about 15 minutes later. Another friend ordered burritos and after they arrived requested salsa but once more the owner apologised in telling him that they were out of salsa! Who eats burritos without salsa? The account arrived and paid in full including paying double as mentioned. In the car on the journey home we chatted about this experience and agreed that it was hugely overpriced for many items. The final conclusion is that we will not return as there are many other fine establishments from which to select.

Your highness, I would like to sincerely apologize for serving a breakfast with runny eggs in front you and a overpriced 50 Baht cup of Latte not served at the temperature of your liking. The Thai serving staff who made an effort through her years at school learning English to serve foreigners in their native language shall be held highly accountable for her short comings of english skills. Just kidding. After I heard staff and others involved side of the story, I am not sorry at all for this. And that day I was out of the restaurant, heard Bill came by with friends, so I made a sincere effort to be back in time to say hi to Bill again and meet his friends. Boy am I glad I didnt meet you. Sorry to have missed Bill and his other friend though. That being said however, I am sorry for forgetting to remove the extra cup of coffee. This shouldnt have happened, but unfortunately it has. If you send me a direct message with bank info, I will transfer that amount back. Luckily, sorry, unfortunately I wont be able to give it back in cash since you will not be returning and venture out to other fine establishments in the city. May the gods of service have mercy on those poor souls. Sincerely, Julian P.S.: Warning to the many other fine establishments in Ubon and surrounding area: Please make sure to have all your food / menu ready at least 30 minutes prior to opening. This includes sauces and dressings as well. If you work like a normal kitchen / restaurant and prepare ingredients freshly throughout the day, you may fall victim to Khun Radars47 rage on Tripadvisor for not having *everything* ready *before* opening.

I travel all over Thailand ( I'm Thailand Rob ). This was my first trip to Ubon and I was looking for western-type menus. We went into Peppers the second night we were there and returned every day after. The breakfast menu is awesome a full of all kinds of choices with large portions. The lunch and dinner menus were full of items to choose from. I recommend the cajun chicken pasta for sure. The owner and staff are very pleasant and accommodating. The prices are on par for the area. I would go back 100%

Very disappointed

My wife and I attended the restaurant for an early dinner yesterday the 6/06/21. Ordered a pizza and two drinks. Very disappointed. The service was poor, they got two parts of the order wrong and it took ages for the guy to stuff up the drink order. This was the first time we ate their pizza and will be the last. It was bland, absolutely no taste and as the Thai say "Mai Aroy." After ha ing been here a number of times prior when the service and food were great I will no go back. Oh, one more thing. Only two people there and the guy brought me the other couple's order. Couldn't even remember who out of two couples ordered what. Even mucked up their order as well. I didn't say anything as I am not one to cause trouble.i will just vote with my feet and they have just lost one regular client. Even my wife complained which I found unusual as she just normally keeps these types of masters to herself.

Hello Geoffrey, thank you for taking the time to let me know about your dining experience a few days ago. I did look into the issue and know what went wrong and why service was way below our standard. It will be taken care of and shouldnt happen again. What did surprise me though is the Pizza being "bland / absolutely no taste". Just a day prior to your review we received a review on a different review platform that said "Best pizza I've had in thailand yet." Maybe the lack of service that day ruined the appetite? I am sorry to hear that one bad dining experience here overrides all your previous positive dining experiences here at Peppers. However, if you do decide to return here again, I am confident you wont be disappointed. Sincerely, Julian

The wife and I have been here twice when in Ubon running around. Both times the service was great, the food was very good and the overall experience made us want to return again. I’ve had a salad, nachos, brat sandwich and my wife had seafood salad and Tom yum and said both were very good. We will definitely be back when in the area and crazing western food.

Took a trip to Ubon and planned to have lunch here after shopping as we have had several good experiences here with meals, bakery items and coffee and cake. In response to my last glowing review, the owner joked that it would be perfect next time and he was right. I was going to choose spinach lasagna but my wife beat me to that, so i ordered Mexican quesidilla. Both were magnigicent and luckily my wife couldn't finish hers. 55. Really liked the Mexican salsa and the basil taste in the lasagna. Friendly, attentive service as usual. I just had to buy a couple of frozen beef pies to take away because i didn't have one for lunch. So 5 *. Well done.

Clean, basic restaurant with friendly helpful staff. Great chef also. Perfect Western/ American food such as “Tex-Mex, “American Chinese”, hamburgers, American breakfast, pizzas… Everything made to perfection. My beef burrito was excellent. The apple pie better than my mother’s.

Consistently great food

Atmosphere, staff, comfort and location are great. Their Hot Cappuccino and Latte are the best in Ubon. A great pairing with their many breakfast offerings. I think their burgers are my favorite. Thick, juicy and tasty, they never fail to please. I'll be back soon!

Big Breakfast!

Try the big breakfast, really good. The food in general seems nice, prices are little above the rest but it’s worth it. The staff is friendly and speaks good English and German. We stayed just a few hours in Ubon and could store our luggage here, that’s a really cool service!

I have just moved to Ubon city and getting to know the area and started coming to Pepper's. The staff and service is very good and food that I order very good also. Will become a regular place for a coffee or dinner.

Good simple food, simple place without aesthetics
