Dinner on a very busy weekday. Service is excellent, but the measures of wine are stingy, two sips and the glass is empty. Restaurants in NL should finally do the same as in Germany: a small line on the glass that says 200 ml and voila, everyone gets the proper measure of wine! Burger was juicy, gamba's yummy, but number of prawns could be more generous. While my companion waited for the bill, I went outside as I found it too hot inside. In no time the waiter [owner?] came out to ask if I was alright, would I like some water? How kind and caring!

Locally above the dunes with the best sea views

Nice restaurant above the dunes in Wijk aan Zee with a great view, atmosphere and service. We visited the restaurant spontaneously after a walk on the beach. Since the kitchen didn't open for another hour, we were seated in two armchairs right by the window with the best view of the sea. A short time later we got our seats and the food was really good!!

Always worth a visit

It's a shame that we were only there on the last evening I had GAMBA'S lemon risotto and grilled vegetables, it was a dream ...the prawns were grilled to perfection and the risotto was very tasty. My partner was also very happy with TOURNEDOS bacon, roseval, haricots verts, paprika, chimichurri. The meat was medium - as ordered, the vegetable side dishes were delicious friendly, helpful staff

We had lunch with “bytes” (small dishes). The restaurant has a beautiful view of the sea and the beach. The service is very pleasant and friendly. The dishes are well served, you will find a few local dishes (bitterballen). A great stop!

A fairly small menu, which you would think you would not have to wait more than an hour. Ordered a drink and then waited for our food. More than an hour later, no dish on the table, even though the people around us (who had also ordered after us) had already finished their food. Then asked the service where our food went, to which it was answered that it would be coming any minute. Fifteen minutes later, still no food on the table. Too bad the staff couldn't honestly say they forgot and that they would do their best. So then went back to the service, in a snarling arrogant way we were informed that waiting more than 1.5 hours is more than normal and that it was all up to us. Super nice place with nice coffee and nice menu. Not a huge choice, but top quality. It's also nice that they serve various lemonades. The tuna starter was one of the best I've ever had. Pure taste. The main course with salmon, brie, spinach, black pasta and lobster sauce was of very good quality. More than just a beach bar, beautiful views of the sea and surrounding dunes.

Cozy, cozy restaurant located in the dunes by the sea. Beautiful view over the sea. Very nice service and good atmosphere. You'll be well received. No extensive menu but something for everyone. Good products, deliciously fresh and well prepared. You can look in the kitchen. Delicious (house wine) tempranillo with a good finish. The lobster soup and grilled tuna is delicious. The tender tournedos is perfectly baked in a delicious gravy. Really enjoy it. Also the dessert, the crème brûlée is recommended, with a nice crispy, warm sugar coating. We had a perfect dinner here. We went for dinner yesterday. It surpassed our expectations. Great ambiance and beautiful views overlooking the beach. Corona rules well implemented. Nice offering of great dishes. It was delicious. Well prepared and served in an attractive way. Wine offering was good. I saw some people complaining in reviews about service, but we were impressed. Well done Michiel! Prices are very reasonable. We will return for sure. Highly recommended, reservation recommended.

More than a beach bar

This is not just any beach bar, but a nice and tastefully decorated restaurant on a dune top. Beautiful view over the sea, which always looks different. Perfect for drinks/lunch/dinner. Beautiful dishes on the menu, very attentive and friendly staff. Spacious parking lot nearby!

As always excellent, friendly service. Poke bowl, great! But man-o-man (sorry for non-binary), the lobster soup!!!! Great, a great bowl of comfort in this windy weather. Add to the cheese plate. And now exploit it. Fantastic weather.

Delicious food in this nice restaurant by the sea! Tuna starter was great, main course with salmon for me and risotto for my partner, with excellent chardonnay. We sat by the window where you will have a very nice view in the summer months!

Highly recommended restaurant overlooking the sea from the top a dune, Beautiful and relaxed place to be. Enjoy the sunset! The team is clearly passioned about food. Great attention given on the preparation of the local products and how it's being served. They clearly stand out versus the wide offering of the various beach restaurants. At same time, the service is excellent and prices are very reasonable. We are returning regularly. Reservation on their website is recommended, specifically in Sumer time. You will not regret a visit to De Liefhebbers!
