Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

As regular travellers to Greece, we found this restaurant to be top notch. Everything we ordered was very good and very fresh. There was a fancy twist on the presentations here that is not often seen in Greek restaurants. The menu is more sophisticated, yet...it was still a traditional Greek restaurant. The only dish we agreed was a bit sub par was the Gemista, (stuffed peppers) which lacked flavour. The chicken kokinisto with pasta was amazing. The kebab was great. The salad with ham , cheese and oranges was amazing!!You simply must order the potato wedges, with the little dipping sauce. They were Devine!! The location is rather out of the way, but if you are visiting Mystras, it’s a perfect place for lunch! Lots of free parking behind the resto. GPS brought us up no troubleMore

Perched above the busy archaeological site, a 'traditional' Greek taverna which lives up to its name. Comfortable seating indoors or out, stacked logs for the wood fire and a garden for the kids to amuse themselves. Try 'goat pasta' - bucatini-like pasta in a braised...goat sauce with a sprinkling of local cheese, or pork cooked in paper. And the 'burger' has no bun - just succulent patties with no grease but a hit of fresh herbs, served with hand cut country potatoes. Well worth the trek up the mountain!More

This was one of our favorite restaurants in Greece. It has a parking lot just uphill behind the restaurant. Easy to get to by car. The baked feta was the best we had in Greece. We really enjoyed the view.

Good food on the whole but way too fast! We did ask for a break between the starter and main course but all we got was the starter brought before we'd even had a sip of wine and the main course following ten minutes later...before we'd even finished the starter! Good liver, good belly of pork but way too speedy for our liking (the place was not busy so go figure why...).More

There are several restaurants near Mystras that I had pre-listed as possibilities, and I am so glad we chose this one for an early dinner after visiting the archaeological site. It is a short drive up the road from Mystras’ upper entrance and not directly...along the roadway; look for the sign by the village church and briefly drive up a short lane and park behind the restaurant. It was a cool April evening, so we ate inside the traditional stone building, which looks exactly as pictured in the interior photos. Service at the family-run restaurant was friendly, the food was excellent, and the overall value was first-rate. A great dinner and highly recommended.More

In a beautiful setting with a view over the whole valley, you get a warm welcome and table in the garden. The food is excellent and homemade. Service is excellent and very friendly. I recommend this restaurant for a very relaxed and pleasant meal.

We went there with a group of 18 persons. We had booked everything in advance, even paying the place a visit 3 months earlier. We had agreed on the menu, stating that we had two vegetarians in the group. For some reason the restaurant gathered...that it would be ok with starters just for 16 persons leaving 2 persons without the starters. When the main course arrived we received 2 vegetarian plates and 14 portions with meat. The waiter was not fluent in English nor did he seem to understand Greek. Only after a visit to the kitchen we were able to receive the missing portions. During our week in the Peloponnese we visited 10 different restaurants. Nine of them were lovely with attentive service and good food. Ktima Skreka was the worst one we visited. And don't expect to get any "glyko" as dessert at this place. Not even when you pay 20 € per person for a mediocre lunch.More

After a visit to Castle of Mystras, we had dinner at restaurant Skreka - and it was fantastic! There was a good and polite service, a cozy atmosphere and the food was the best we have had on our holiday in Greece. Restaurant Skreka is...definitely worth a visit. Thank you for a good experience!More

We had dinner here on the recommendation of our host at Mazaraki Guesthouse next door. All 4 of us thought our meals were incredible - the first 2 courses were so good we ordered dessert even though we struggled to fit it in. The service...and ambience was also lovely. Actually we enjoyed it so much we went back for lunch the following day so that we could all try other options on the menu. Just thinking about the food makes my mouth water.More
