Really good food and amazing experience

The food is very good, without overkilling you with too big portion sizes. The staff was extremely nice and helpful. We had a case of swarm of bees who got excited with my husband's dish, and everyone rushed to help relocate us to better table and light up some incense to chase them away. The place is located next to quiet garden.

Worth a visit!

We visited Ktima Skreka with my partner after Mystras. Location isn’t much, it’s in a small village in the mountain, but it’s a 5min drive from Mystras. The place is very nice, lovely yard, nice decor. Service is polite and fast. Foos is really amazing! We had a “tomato-rusk-feta mousse” salad that was tasty and fresh. Fried cheese (always great). Stuffed patties that came with fries (hand cut and fresh). And wild boar pancetta with mushed potatoes and red fruit sauce. Everything was super tasty! Together with house wine and bottled waters, plus the welcome bread with olive oil and sea salt, we paid 51€. It was totally worth it and we’ll visit again when we’re in the area.

Price high. Meals are good but not tipical for Greek cusine in our opiniom. No adds after meal. It happens to us first time in GREECE. Don’t take a bread. It cost 8€ for several pieces of old, not fresh baked bread

We visited for a second year in a row. Both visits were characterised by quality food, at very good prices, and friendly / professional personnel that thrive to make you have a good time. Very good cooking and setting of the restaurant. Worthy of a visit when you visit Mystras.

Truly lovely place, from location, service and food quality and taste. We had a wonderful meal with Greek dishes with a twist, well cooked ,good portions ,nicely presented and fairly priced. Very nice views and gorgeous olive garden tastefully decorated and lit for a lovely meal while visiting Mystras. A must .. while in the area.

If you want to try delicious, authentic Greek food, don’t miss a trip to Ktima Skreka. I’m sitting at the restaurant as I write this review, because our dining experience was so phenomenal that I didn’t want to wait another minute before sharing it with anyone who might be reading this - I can’t recommend it enough. Every single thing we tried was delicious: the Byzantine meatballs, “sausages from our village”, countryside potatoes, Hellenic salad, moussaka and orange pie. Everything was made fresh but was still brought to us very quickly by a friendly waitress. The venue is beautiful and green, surrounded by its big garden and olive trees, with several tables outside. The area is very calm and quiet, and there are a couple of easygoing cats lying around just enjoying the warm sunshine. This restaurant is without a doubt a 10/10 and I would wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone.

This restaurant is set back from the main road. We had good efficient service. The vegetarians among us shared several starters, there were no dedicated vegetarian main courses. What we did have was very tasty. It was all traditional Greek food. A good straightforward meal.

One of the worst restaurants. We went with a school group that we had booked a month in advance. Rude all, abrupt, refused even to give salt to the table. The food was uncooked and all identical. Extremely expensive for what it provided. He served the scoop of ice cream in a plastic cup and charged 5 euros for it! With a quantity no larger than a spoon. And when a gentleman complained about the way he served it they responded very rudely. I really don't recommend anyone to go there because neither the service nor the quality of the food nor the prices are anything good. It is worth noting that every time someone asked for something a gentleman who seemed to be in charge turned his face and cursed! Simply unacceptable. .

Very good lunch after Mystras visit

After the torrid sun at Mystras, nothing could work better than the gallons of water and the lunch we had at Skreka tavern. Maybe we were just hungry, but the lamp chops and roasted pork were absolutely delicious. And all this on a nice, shaded terrace, with a nice view towards the Mystras. Also bought local olive oil from the tavern, which proved to be very good.

The food was mediocre and not worth the visit. The service was good though but really was expecting more for a traditional tavern. I would expect local traditional plates but really the potatoes were not freshly cut and frozen… should try more to keep the traditional element..,

This beautiful restaurant is situated on the top of a mountain with exceptional views. The food was absolutely spectacular - as a Cypriot couple, we are familiar with Greek food but here, many dishes have a really unique twist to the traditional meals you expect with top quality ingredients. The staff were excellent; extremely kind, polite and helpful. Our favourite restaurant in the area!

Traditional Greek foods are elaborated and presented in a contemporary way. We tried two starters and main dishes, prepared with genuine ingredients, flavored with local herbs in a pleasant display. Good choice of quality wines. Quality dishes in a nice restaurant, absolutely recommended

Best Greek restaurant

We are a family of 5, we have been traveling to the Peloponnese for a week, we have been out for lunch and dinner every day, but until now all the restaurants offered exactly the same dishes, good for goodness sake but after 10 days a bit. In this restaurant however we found a different and quite sophisticated cuisine, all the dishes were excellent even the usual Greek dishes beat all the previous restaurants. Furthermore, a beautiful and well-kept location and the same goes for the service which in recent days has always been very spartan. To conclude, it was the restaurant where we spent the least (€80 for 5 people with appetizers, wine and drinks) usually we always spent at least €100 for, as I said, always eating the same things and not at all sophisticated. Plus you are within 5 minutes of the magnificent Mystra (a UNESCO heritage site and also a very suggestive place to go at least once in your life) which to say if there were 10 stars it would be worth them all

We had tried almost all the restaurants in the area except for this one due to the restrictions created by the arrival of several tourists. We made the decision this year to take the plunge. The flavors are really wonderful and the dishes very well thought out. We tasted 1. estate salad: with layers (round cake type) of grated nut, chopped tomato and feta cream. . . Simply Marvelous . . . 2. Cheese kandaifaki with honey. . . party!! we were impressed that even the honey was thyme-like. 3. Pork in the wood oven: indescribable serving in a special hot dish with the meat being crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside. The wife who is very picky thought it was the tastiest pork dish she has ever tasted. 4. Bluta with chicken apaki: even this humble dish that I ordered due to my special diet, was special with spicy notes. Even the hors d'oeuvres treat contained fragrant oil with a flower of salt that tied so harmoniously with the fresh bread. If we were to dine again in the area it would be our first choice. Thanks.
