Found La Sosta by chance!¡! After a long stop in Paris (at the airport) I said to myself I won't find anything nearby to eat something (in Venice) having found La Sosta I understood that there are good people in this difficult world

Wine shop and cuisine truly at the top. A few kilometers from Venice airport and close to Venice itself. Small but very nice place, wide range of wines to taste directly on site with platters of cold cuts and mixed fried foods. The cuisine is mouth-watering, meat, fish, cooked but also raw seafood, very fresh. I recommend it but go after booking in advance. Excellent value for money.

A highly recommended restaurant. We had a fish evening - fish starter "La Sosta" and as main course grilled sea bass. For dessert we had panna cotta. We also had a bottle of Tai "Friuli". A pure enthusiasm! Everything was perfectly prepared and tasted very good. Since I am histamine and sorbitol intolerant, the chef came personally and discussed dinner with me. You don't feel like a number, you feel like a guest. The waitress was also very attentive and friendly. We will definitely come back.

Absolutely horrible. My girlfriend and I are here on vacation with her family and decided to go to this restaurant because of its high reviews. My girlfriend is a vegetarian and we asked if there were any options which they replied with “no” so we decided to go cross the street and bring back a pizza so that she could eat and enjoy spending time with the family. When we returned both the cook and the waiter were furious and started to yell at us and be extremely rude because we brought back a pizza. If you are looking to get mistreated and have HORRIBLE customer service then this is your place to go. Also from what our family has said. The food sucks and is to expensive.

A friendly place with a good selection of drinks and passionate staff to tell you all about them. Their own brand prosecco is some of the best I've had.
The food is also delicious and fresh, for any time of day.

We stopped because of the very catchy name and upon entering we saw a remarkable display of bottles! We took everything that the owner (Vlad, very nice and professional) recommended to us. We had a dinner based on fish and bubbles ranging from the Veneto to the Oltrepò Pavia and we had a great time including the children with dedicated dishes for them. Highly recommended place......

BEST Lasagna and Panna Cotta I have EVER eaten. The menu may be limited but that is because they have perfected the dishes they offer (2 appetizers, 3 first course, 3 main and 3 dessert) and an amazing wine list.. The wine recommendations were SPOT ON. A meal I will never forget, and certainly one of the best, if not THE best, meal of my life.

We had a beautiful evening meal, the night before our long haul home. It’s very close to Venice airport and a perfect place to dine for your final Italian meal before heading home. The locals enjoy their wine at the front as did we. Good reds and rose.
We also enjoyed a lovely steak and lasagne. There is not much around this location and it was great to find a lovely place to dine before leaving Italy.
Thank you to the lovely restaurant owners for their good food, wine and hospitality.

After a long journey, two travelers were carefully greeted with warmth and homeliness. Excellent selection of wines for every taste. The boss and his beautiful wife will not leave you unattended. This is a place where they listen to you carefully and meet your desires. Very warm, tasty and homely. Chef Vlad and his wonderful wife are always waiting for you to visit.

Lovely family run restaurant a few minutes walk from Antony Hotel makes it a great place to eat. Charming owners and very fresh food. English menu translation and very good spoken English. Would go again.

Vladie is so welcoming and fun! Best meal we’ve had since we’ve been in Italy!!! Excellent fritto misto (fried fish) and lasagna alla bolognese. Prosecco was very good also!

La Sosta is a MUST when visiting the Venice area. The food is amazing and the drinks are even better. Vladie is so personable and accommodating. He will make your visit much worth it!!! I will be back.
