Restaurant located aside the town’s clock tower, cute settings, the toilets are oldish and can be a problem for a tall person but those were the spaces available in the old days and that is what makes the old world charming, today...
It was truffles season; we had some toasts with whipped salt cod with truffles (10,00); a hot “pocket” with vegetables, eggs and truffle slices, a kind of savory pie (9,00); pici (thick fat spaghetti like pasta) with duck sauce (12,00); tagliatelle (ribbon pasta) with quail eggs and truffles (11,00) all dishes were inviting and satiating, so truffle smelled and tasted. As dessert we just had an apple pie (5,00) nice to end with flourish.
The place was full with locals and tourists; saw lots of inviting meat dishes served (have to go back); service was positive with plus; this is a great restaurant where to go and this town is a small pretty village where to walk before or after meals especially around the gorge area.

While on a 7-day all-inclusive tour of Tuscany our tour company provided accommodation and meals in Loro Ciuffenna. One free day while strolling around this wonderful town, my wife and I popped into this establishment for lunch. What a wonderful experience – first rate food, great quality beer and wine, and an owner/server who was welcoming and enthusiastic about his food and his prize truffle. As the entire experience was so much better, relative to what we had endured at our tour hotel, we returned that same evening with our new friends from the tour. We all agreed this establishment provided high quality, super delicious food, that was presented in an elevated fashion. Everything was so much better than our hotel up the road. I only wish our tour company had booked our meals in Ristorante La Torre. Wish I could award a score higher than 5. If you are in the area, or even as far away as Florence you should make an effort to dine here – you won’t be disappointed.

La Torre Restaurant is a jewel in the wonderful village of Loro Ciuffena. We ate delicious pappardelle with goose sauce and drank fantastic local wine♥️ absolutely unique, very romantic location and affordable prices! Recommended for all couples for a romantic dinner ❤️🔥

After being one of the best restaurants this one became one of the worst. Bad quality food not mentioning tuna (mine was not fresh had stomach problems after). Looks like they stopped carring about the food because of more tourists coming to town. Really sad. Besides they do not take any remarks and are rude towards people who say something negative about the food they serve. The young waiter should be fired for his very agressive behavior. Do not recommend them. There are much better restaurants around than this one

We are in Loro Ciuffenna, a medieval village listed among the most beautiful villages in Italy. The restaurant is located inside the clock tower in a beautiful panoramic location. The service is attentive and kind and the dishes are very tasty and well presented, with a pinch of innovation. Delicious first courses and meat. Excellent value for money

A few kilometers from the Valdarno exit of the A1 motorway, there is a town, Loro Ciuffenna, with an excellent restaurant, La Torre. We were impressed both by the restaurant, with attention to detail, and by the kindness of the owner. We enjoyed some amazing pappardelle with porcini mushrooms, an excellent peposo with purée and truffle, delicious scrambled eggs with butter and truffle, and a delicious semolina cake with berries. At the end, the young chef Lorenzo spoke to us with enthusiasm and competence about his dishes and offered us an artisanal liqueur made with bay leaves. Excellent food quality and absolutely honest cost. I recommend it to anyone who knows and wants to eat well!

If I could I'd give 0. We arrive at the restaurant at 12.27 after booking... the welcome was made by a annoyed gentleman, as if he were doing us a favor, who makes his debut without even saying good morning with: “we open at 12.30, it’s early!... but if you want bha... climb up”

This hidden gem was recommended by our hotel and we were so grateful for the recommendation! We visited three times in 6 days and were very satisfied. The food was fresh, tasty and authentic. The service was impeccable and Lorenzo was attentive and accommodating, going the extra mile every time. You need to try to octopus and truffle soup, everything else is also spectacular. If you are looking for delicious Italian restaurant, this is the place.

The cook is an angel in the kitchen... because I ate heavenly dishes: snails as a whim, gnocchi au gratin with taleggio and truffles, amazing peposo! 10 and praise ... I have read all the reviews and often find it written that the waiter does not smile. I confirm , but he took the order , brought me the dishes (being careful not to spill them!), brought me the bread when I asked him again and the third time he did not ask for it . So he did his 😊. If he doesn't smile, he won't have a reason or he won't want to! The answers to the most annoying reviews are written with boiling blood ... will it be that angel of the cook who turns into a devil?? The epilogue of a rainy day was absolutely "interesting". In this small Tuscan village we discovered this restaurant which is located in the tower, the location is very particular.
We had an appetizer and a fantastic Florentine steak, cooked to perfection. The house wine and bitters are also excellent. Pleasant service.

This was the meal I was dreaming about eating when visiting Tuscany from the US! The low key profile but high caliber food was a perfect combo. This was perhaps the best Italian meal I've ever had. There were 12 of us so we got to try everything, and we did! The green lasagna was epic, the risotto perfectly cooked with right dose of butter and garlic, the home made wild boar pasta and literally every desert on the menu made for a memorable lunch on Thanksgiving. We reordered at least twice during the meal. I don't know who the chef is but this team is world class in a low key spot. Far better than the 5 star hotel we are staying at near by.

We ate very well, black crostini with an exquisite liver pâté and goat's cheese with caramelized onion, a delicious Florentine steak cooked just right and a truly excellent tiramisu. It was a true dining experience from start to finish. Furthermore, very kind staff and a very nice and welcoming place inside a tower in a beautiful historic center.

We were on a trip and stopped for lunch at this nice, quaint restaurant inside the tower. We ate very well with crostini, pappardelle with meat sauce, mixed roasts with potatoes, dessert and coffee. The service is also good. We did not give the 5 stars for excellence because the typical menu booked was missing (to our disappointment!) Pappardelle with wild boar ragù! Someone had come just for that!

We ate very well, trying a bit of everything, the Riva pappa al pomodoro was excellent, the potato cappuccino was original and surprising, the homemade pappardelle with mushrooms was excellent, the desserts were also delicious. Delightful location and very kind staff. Approved with flying colors.

We arrived in Loro Ciuffena for lunch time and decided to enter this restaurant.
The place is very nice, characteristic, a very kind girl welcomes us into the room.
The dishes offered are linked to the territory with seasonal products, well presented and of good taste.
