The sign says to wait to be seated but doesn't say that you then have to go to the counter to order. We ordered coffees and then waited. After 20 minutes we asked the waiter about our order and he said it would be served...soon. After 30 minutes we approached the counter to find they had lost our order. And when our order finally arrived it wasn't correct! The worst thing was that no one apologised or said that they were sorry. Will not be back again.More
Delicious food and attentive service - no wonder it was so busy. Definitely worth the trip out to Cromwell. We’ll definitely return!
A very rainy day so cafe was packed. Amazing scone & cheese roll & perfect coffee. Prices getting up there for the cheese roll though. Very good service, unfortunately abit noisy with cafe being full
Staff were lovely, food was beautiful what more could you ask for! Would visit again if passing through Cromwell.
Beautiful food every time and always a really good serving size. Great views of the waterfront. Highly recommend
Found Armando’s by chance when exploring Historic area of Cromwell. Had lunch here overlooking Lake Dunstan. A very Italian themed cafe. Italian menu & wine. Great vista. Lunch food & service were excellent. Coffee was equally very good.
Busy cafe with a limited cabinet selection we did find a seat. The thing that brings it down from other cafes was the service, one of the items we ordered never arrived, after sometime enough for me to finish what I had been served I...went to the counter waited to be served pointed out that we hadn't and as far as we could tell the lady at the counter did nothing about it. A few minutes later we caught the attention of waiting staff again explained the issue she went into the kitchen to sort it out. Now is not the time to put customers off due to poor service. There are other options close by service coupled with the limited cabinet food would not go backMore
Such a great eatery! We have been a few times over the last few years and are never disappointed. This place is totally worth visiting for lunch or dinner. Kind staff, excellent food and the mulled wine was great too.
We ordered a meat lovers the house special pizza. Both arrived speedily from the friendly waiter. The pizzas were crispy based with fresh ingredients and were excellent. Leftovers were enjoyed for lunch the following day. We ate outside and enjoyed the view while also enjoying...the pizzas. Will be happy to return on our next visit to Cromwell.More
