We popped in here to escape the weather. How lucky for us! I had the gelato: mascarpone, date and orange. We shared a garlic pizza bread. Both incredible. The people were so friendly and looked after us. Thank you!
The large sign advertising Devonshire Teas attracted me to this cafe, but disappointingly there were none being served that day! However, the coffee was good and the cinnamon scrolls were delicious. There was seating available indoors and outside. The windows provided lovely views of the...waterfront. The staff were friendly and the service was good.More
Head down to Pioneer village and you will find a taste of Italy in a small cottage.
Charming inside and the staff were attentive and courteous with the sounds of Italian vocals playing in the background.
The food is reasonably priced and they also offer...vegetarian and children’s menu.along with usual Italian fare of pizza and pasta.
Civo coffee was very good, and the polenta
fries were scrumptious .
I did note the desserts which looked absolutely Devine but it was lunch.More
Our food experience was excellent, but the reason for a 3 star was certainly let down by the front of house staff, there own conversations were far more important than serving customers, we go out for lunch to enjoy the food and atmosphere, not to...listen to high pitched girls laughing and joking.More
We stumbled across Amando’s kitchen after writing the Dunstan cycle Trail. The service was great and the food was simply delicious! We had pizza, pasta and soup and everything was amazing! Fantastic flavours and very happy customers.
Went there for lunch, Caesar’s salad and pizza of the day were great. Coffee was made in best Italian traditions, recommended.
Also met owner, who keeps his standards high. Definitely worth a stop in Cromwell
